Not the harden shelters. I’m aware of those. But the unground tunnel complexes. Perhaps the height is such that they need a fighter that can fit, at least for some of their shorter tunnel networks.Bro, hope you don't mind, but it's called HAS = Hardened Air Shelter
Well I kind of hope the Jf17 is sold everywhere (barring India and Israel) I think it has the ability to become the Mig21 or F4 of the 4+++ Generation (in terms of abundance).Maybe they have gotten really good at working with the MiG-29 and its engine. Also, they know they could get the engine from Russia. Finally the JF-17 is shorter and therefore, they could hide it in a bunker. Their bunkers maybe of a certain height.
I once again hope the JF-17 is not sold to them.

Russia to help Pakistan in jet engine production, great news:-
@Khansaheeb Bro, have to agree with TAC here. If another more credible source could be provided, that would be great!I repeat ‘in short’ is a bullshit channel which exaggerates & fabricates stories for clicks. I’m sure creators of channels like ‘in short’ and ‘defence outpost’ are on this forum to pick up any genuine bits of info from more informed members and convert it into the next ‘big news’ clickbate video. Eg no sooner had someone on this forum clarified the different versions of the J-35, than they posted new ‘big news’ videos on the subject adding their own generous heap of salt n pepperDo yourselves a favour and ignore them.

Iran Reportedly Initiates Steps to Acquire JF-17 Block III Developed by Pakistan and China
Several Arab defense media outlets report that the primary objective of the Iranian Air Force chief’s visit is to initiate discussions about acquiring the JF-17 “Thunder” fighter jets, jointly developed by Pakistan and China.

I know you irans airforce is on its feet but they need twin engined flankers not JF17
If Iran has the money they should go for J31s or J35sDear what you want may not always be readily available. Western jets, including those jets with Western components, are out of the question for Iran due to international sanctions. Russia, while a potential supplier, is currently preoccupied with its own domestic and geopolitical demands. China, though a significant player, is often hesitant to provide large-scale military equipment to Iran and may prefer foreign currency transactions over barter deals with oil, an Iranian preference that aligns more closely with Pakistan. Additionally, Also keep middle east factor too in mind. Any significant military capability enhancement that could be perceived as a threat to regional stability is unlikely to be facilitated through Pakistan. Also, delivery timelines must be considered. Iran requires these assets quickly. While the JF-17 may not be the ideal aircraft, it could be the most viable option under current circumstances for Iran.
