... I quoted is rather blurred but the number on the nose is definitely "223" , even if you use a magnifying glass to view it.. But is the number on the tail different? It's too blurred for me to read. Still the plane is clearly a block-3 so "223" on the nose makes no sense...does it? ...
No idea. Errors do happen and the numbers are corrected.

16-206 was also photographed as 15-206.

... Why do you assume that only pictures of lower serial numbers can be missing and not higher ones? For example.... If 321 & 322 can exist without any picture then why not say 324 & 325?
Picture verification is just a personal thing for me. It simply means I don't have pictures for those numbers. It doesn't mean the aircraft were are not built.

Again, no idea. They maybe built and in active service but as a JF-17 Thunder fan, I like to see/collect photos/serial numbers. Helps sleep better at night. 🙂
 
The two that landed in the UK are 23-319 and 23-323 with the latter having the tattoo art.

As only one had tattoo scheme at RIAT 2025, I am assuming the following photo was taken somewhere in Pakistan maybe as part rehearsal, Aviation photography?

This ISPR video shows 2?-303 in the same scheme as 23-323. I don't know if this was part of a different event in the past.

Brothers, can you shed some light on this please.
Two units 303 and 323 were painted in special livery, and yes that picture is before their departure from Pakistan.

3 jets were dispatched 303, 323 and 319. 303 stayed in Turkey on standby and 323 and 319 kept hauling to RIAT.

In 22 years, it went from just a concept to going toe to toe with J-20 killers.........and Raptor of the east..........

Basically JF-17 shat all over IAF.

Me too!! I was earlier trying to find a fan made promo video of the FC1 test flights that had the "The Rasmus" as the background music, but youtube is playing slow on that right now.

What it has enabled with high performance flight hours is priceless (so to speak). From the carefully rationed F-16 hours to literally being able to “rajj ke urao” is a BIG driver in getting better training and tactics developed from it.
 
I remember the day well

cant believe its been so long

at that time we knew about J10 but did not know how advanced China will get within such a short time
