ah, well good to know that you are in the know how based on the comment you made above about 3 hr on station, OBOG on block III.

PS: Few years back, Block-II flew from Queta to Oman directly, not like straight line but following the airway corridors, almost 4 hr long flight. That flight literally put .the argument to end on the debate of not enough O2 for long flight. Anyway, thank you for the feedback, its appreciated

Any source ?
Because fighter jets have optimum cruising speed of around 800kmph. You are saying that 1450 km Direct distance was turned into 3200 due to air corridor.

What's your source the ferry range of JF17 is 3200 km maybe there's enough O2 to reach the 3200 km

Hi,

The claimed ferry range for the jf17 was substantial---. So---it might be possible that that those with inflight refuelling capability might have had obog already installed---??????

Sorry, Amman not Oman. My bad.

Article ( ISPR News ) about Direct flight to Amman ( error on Oman ) Jordan from Quetta.

PS: Error on part, meant to write Amman Jordan not Sultan of Oman.

Pakistan Aeronautical Complex JF-17C Block-III Thunder Project may soon start the process of upgrading its standard BVR missile from SD-10A. With PL-10E already as its dogfight weapon, the Block-III Thunder may adopt either PL-15E or FAAZ-2 as its extended BVR capability.
