JF-17 - Updates, News & Discussion

Before even talks begin there has to be peace agreement between three nations.
In actual international relations, "agreements on paper" hold little practical significance. Real-world power is the true deciding factor.

Let’s analyze this from a military perspective:

India needs 300 fighter jets. Pakistan won’t sell them any! China won’t sell them any! They could turn to Russia, France, or the United States... there are plenty of suppliers out there.

Now, imagine you are a commander in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). What kind of fighter jets would you want your adversary to be flying—the JF-17 Block III, J-10CE, Su-35, Rafale, or F-16V?

If it were up to me, I’d choose the JF-17 Block III for them.

I’ve both made a fortune from my "enemies" and won the war against them. What’s wrong with that?

Nothing. So let china sell not 300 but only 60 J-20 and 60 J-35 to Taiwan....
You are beyond saving.

Taiwan is not an "enemy" of the PRC!!! At the very least, the PRC has never viewed Taiwan as an "enemy"! We simply view Taiwan as a brother who's throwing a tantrum!

You need to get a clear understanding of what "enemy" actually means.

If India or Japan were to seek to purchase the FC-31/J-35 fighter jet, I would have no objection to selling it to them—provided they are willing to place an order and pay the full amount. The J-20 fighter, however, is not for sale!

You need to look at this problem from a different perspective.

If—and I mean *if*—India were to proactively seek to purchase 300 JF-17B3 aircraft, do you think China and Pakistan would agree to the sale? ------ I don’t know what Pakistan’s decision would be. However, if India were to take the initiative to purchase 300 J-10CE fighter jets from China, I believe CATIC would agree. Of course, India would need to pay the full amount upfront!

In reality, such a scenario is almost impossible. This example is intended merely to illustrate a particular line of reasoning. Furthermore, although India has experienced many points of friction with China in recent years, its volume of orders for goods from China has not decreased—on the contrary, it has actually increased.
So, in this scenario, Chinese controls will not restrict the sale of arms to India? Is that the policy of the PRC?

So you want to sell weapons to your enemies but not to your brother?Great Logic. I'm glad you don't make China's export policies.

And since your logic was that selling your own weapons is the means to win war, i assume you are preparing for war with Japan and India , but never with Taiwan....well at least we know that you don't sit on the CMC.....and why! 😁
