The 60+ years demo pilot of the T 50 did a far more impressive job hands down at zuhai airshow then sqd ldr jawad

If PAC thinks that they can sell any thing with this sort of performance then they have another thing comming
 
I noticed improved barrel roll, higher AOA during high alpha, faster snap rolls, and quicker turn around. Smoke emission only when afterburner is on due to raw fuel burning faster
Many turbofans do that. I missed thunder turn though.

I am hopeful, before the year is out PAF will showcase the latest Block-3s it has produced in 2023 and 2024 which the Air Force has been quite quiet about this year so far.

Bro, you are little too hard on the pilot. IMO, he did fine. T-50 / SU-57 is one of its kind in the world, its a very powerful 5th gen, super maneuverable fighter.

However, there's always room for improvement, can add perhaps different aerobatics. I remember JF-17s few years ago used to take off at very steep angle right after leaving runway (almost vertical). That became a trademark of Jeffs. That was very impressive and showed incredible climb rate. That should be included again. In addition, I think commentary needs to be improved as well lol. PAC can also improve their static display, websites, promotional videos and marketing content.

A solo display can only be so impressive. If forces purchased aircraft based off of these aerobatic demonstrations, everyone would be flying Extra330LX's with 9X's strapped to the wings.

They buy aircraft as a result of evaluations and capabilities, not displays. The purpose of these displays are to drum up engagement/awareness.

PS, im an aerobatic pilot, without smoke/formations we can only make a display look so good, youre looking at it from the ground so it warps the perspective a fair bit.

I find Bob Hoover’s displays with the Aero commander and Sabre jet far more impressive than any Extra or Pitts.

A clean T-50 with minimal airshow fuel is bound to be impressive

What do you expect it to do?
It’s like saying you find the F-1 car more impressive than a Subaru WRX Sti. Apples to oranges.

Engine smoke is not going away unless you change the engine out - and PAC struggles with selling it go well beyond the platform

I have had the privilege of seeing more then a few jf 17 flight demos over the years on different occasions..
Most of these were outstanding n put a lot of more powerful ac with twr alot higher then jf17 to shame.....most recent example was the demo on 21st match in isd where the pilot put the f16 to shame hands down.

The video above shows the jf 17 in a very ordinary light thanks to the very conservative flying by sqd ldr jawad

Fly like its ment to flown ....by the seat of ur pants.......flying fast ac is mostly instinct....that's wt separates aces from pilots
Its a flight demo where u need to convince ur prospective buyers by showing them how much better ur product is from the others.....
The whole routine was lathergic to so the least, which as we know is nothing to do with the ac as we have seen it perform outstandingly again n again but it all to do with the pilot
 
I believe in the next 5-7 years, all 4/4.5-generation fighters will lose market appeal, and the world will be looking for 5th-generation affordable fighters. I think this is where PFX comes into play.... PAF needs to move to next-gen/next iteration of JFT.

The flying aircraft is Block 2. The question is, do Block 3 have the upgraded RD-93MA or not.

I never said that they buy ac simply based on a demo.......
The demo at a def exhibition is part of the whole process that goes into selling an ac.....evennthough all the ac manufactures r not as intelligent as you but still all them dumb ba$tards send all of their ac to all these def exibtions all around the world to do all these flight demos 2-3 times a day every day for a week.......to show their intended audience wt the ac can do in the air that they have been preaching.

Now the black smoke that I am referring to is comming from the engine.....n no the jf 17 is not carrying any smoke winders on its wingtip rails as here like most places it relives on vapor trail generated by vortex created by its dsi intake

Ps then again some times buying ac is based on a flight demo. Eg when itan wanted to a buy a fighter ac at the time of shah the choice was narrowed down to f 14 n f 15 n it came down to who could perform better in a flight demo.......n f14 carried the day n the rest is history.....plenty more instances like that one
