Begs the question, if the hull is identical, why bother with JCF?
Who says it is identical ... JCF is based on Babur class corvette, good 10 meters longer and bigger by 400+ tons. It is a Pakistani design and own.
Nearly identical I said!
As
@puttputt pointed out, it seems the Turks developed the Ada class then handed the design to private sector to build offshoots. While the ships may displace more and be longer, it’s not a significant length. You’re probably talking about an additional hull block, perhaps to allow for a larger VLS setup.
i also think that a lot of the additional displacement is a result of the redesigned superstructure on the ship, but also reinforcing the deck to be able to support our big fat missiles. For reference, the addition of an extra 2 smash missiles makes up nearly 2% of the additional displacement (400tons). Then some to reinforce the deck for the extra weight…etc

You can see the hull form is basically identical, at best, a slightly scaled up version.
In any case, optimising the use of the deck space seems to be the trend with the JCF, alongside reducing the RCS- which has always been a consideration for the PN. Even with the Azmat, the key was the superstructure being optimised for RCS reduction and a new weapons suite.
I think possibly what we will either see if changes to the design as it’s built like we did with Babur, or additional flights with modifications that are a bit deeper, however, as of now, I think it’s purely an iterative upgrade/a optimisation of the hull into the ‘ideal’ vessel for the PN, with them giving it the NRDI treatment. However as I said, perhaps we will see a flight 2 with more major improvements.
