Egypt will bring with it more problems than solutions, esp given their attitude. I am not convinced on Egypt tbh, hopefully they are kept out.
Pakistanis keep wanting Iran to be part of a military bloc of Muslim nations. However, ordinary Iranians are far too conditioned by their government’s worldview to seriously consider joining a bloc that does not accommodate or support Iran’s regional ambitions. Not 'always' a dream. Difficult but possible. The Iranian President's first visit was to Pakistan a day after the Islamabad MOU was signed and in the visit, IIRC, he talked about a 'regional security framework'.
The Middle Eastern alliances and dynamics are rapidly changing since the Iran war. A change in Washington's posture in the Middle East is what's needed and POTUS Vance today will not surprise me to see positive changes in the Middle East.
In case you don't know, indians are HIGHLY HIGHLY EXTREME Islamaphobes. Even more so than zionists and the far-right white racists. They believe in the genocide of ALL Muslims on the planet not just Pakistanis. So that includes Turkish, Iranian and Arab Muslims. Because indians are physically weak, in front of you they will be friendly and civil but INSIDE they will be burning with EXTREME hatred. Most non-Pakistani Muslims are not aware of this.

Let’s leave Iran out for now. They first need to prove that they can be a constructive and trustworthy partner. For the time being, everyone is better off without them.
Pakistan will never sign a defence pact with Iran that does not include Saudi Arabia as one of its founding members. Cartoon-e-Azam Imran Khan tried to pursue that sort of arrangement, and he ended up in the dustbin of history.
Bottom line: Iran needs to establish a very strong and positive relationship with Saudi Arabia before any such defence pact can realistically be envisaged.
It's a good dream and achievable...what choices do Iran have in the near to midterm future ? Not much , she has to climb down from her rhetorics and be part of the regional dynamics....Iran can't play the nasty , badass madman for too long.
Before Iran joins, all this proxy issue needs to be resolved! But yes Iran joining is icing on the cake and it will significantly strengthen this bloc!In my perfect world, it would be Iran joining this agreement.
It would provide a land and air bridge for Pakistan to counter India.
Saudi Arabia: Financial Power
Turkey: Military Industry.
Iran: Ballistic missiles and one-way drones capability
Pakistan: Nuclear power
This would have caused serious vibrations within the think tank in Israel and India.
However. This will always be a dream.
What sort of problems could Egypt bring by joining the defence pact?Egypt will bring with it more problems than solutions, esp given their attitude. I am not convinced on Egypt tbh, hopefully they are kept out.
Yeah, I'm not gonna get that from the likes of you or your lackies (chumCHAY).You need help![]()
Pakistan already signed the defence pact with somaliaThe first conflict zone for this alliance will most likely be Somalia
*Türkiye has trained Somalian army for years now
*Saudi Arabia has became enemy of UAE in Aden and Somaliland is their stronghold
*Israel recognized Somaliland and they gonna open military base in there soon, and gain influence in Aden
*Pakistan also in talk about deeper defence agreements with Somalia
As for the new members.. It can be Qatar,Syria,Jordan and Azerbaijan
There is the 4th lot you forgot. They are Pakistanis that have a problem with the Establishment/FM.Only Enemies of Pakistan and Islamic world are against this pact.
1- Israelis
2- Indians
3- Iranian fans (very few, mostly in this thread)
For this first time in generations, an Islamic defense pact with 3 heavy weights is signed. Only an enemy of Islamic world will bark against it. It must be praised that for the first time Islamic countries are looking at each other for regional defense.
They do know, they can't not know
They also know of the deep cooperation with their enemy, if the Arab states are legitimate targets why quiet here?
Their principled struggle falls apart here
