Lebanon-Israel War | 2023-present

You either really don’t get it, or you’re pretending not to because it fits whatever story you’ve made up for yourself. Either way, I’ll spell it out for you one last time.

If the arab countries especially saudi arabia hadn’t spent decades clinging to the US, there wouldn’t be hezbollah, hamas, pmu, or any iranian influence for you to complain about. The whole thing didn’t start in Iran, it started when Arab leaders chose to serve Israel and the US instead of their own people, leaving a huge vacuum for someone else to fill.

You can’t drop Palestine, side with its occupiers, watch Lebanon get bombed, and then act shocked when someone else steps in to do what you wouldn’t.

And as for the rest of your long, irrelevant posts, every time you reply, you drift off into something completely unrelated. it’s pretty clear you’re just trying to blow off steam, not actually discuss anything.

Not agree to this BS "Ceasefire", that was a mistake. B/c Hezbollah ceased, Israel kept firing. They were stretched and Hezbollah made it easy for them, but seperating the southern front from the Northern front. I believe if they stayed with the warfare, they would not be in the position they are in, and Israel would not have dared to expand the field to Yemen and Iran if it was already stretched on 2 different fronts.

They gave up their positions and strongholds in Southern Lebanon, so all this is happening b/c of the "ceasefire", its Israelis dictating terms now.

Lets see how it plays out, and if Iran or the Iraqi PMUs will help. b/c something is coming, you might even see Israeli air support to the Lebanese army to fight Hezbollah or even an Israeli entry into Lebanon.
the reality is they lost their entire leadership so the fighters on the ground were fighting independently, and suffering 75+ KIA per day as Israel slowly advanced on the ground

don't you think Israel would have continued to terrorise the population until Hezbollah agreed to withdraw from south Lebanon? they bombed even near historical Lebanese sites and destroyed historical sites just to punish Lebanese people and turn them against Hezbollah even more

also we forget that for a full year when the conflict was in 'low intensity' stage Israel carpet bombed every building in most towns in south Lebanon so the remaining fighters in south Lebanon had no connection with high command, no ability to resupply as a result, and limited places to hide

Everybody was against Hezbollah role in Syria

There are good and bad things

Some good/crucial things to take into account :

1.) Hezbollah protects Lebanese Muslims from Christian militias in Lebanon

2.) Hezbollah protects the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon

3.) Hezbollah protects Palestinian right of return by default thanks to its protection of Palestinian refugee camps

4.) Hezbollah prevents a Jewish-Christian militia takeover of Lebanon

5.) Arab Muslims would lose Lebanon to Jews and Christian militias if Hezbollah didn't exist

Yes, Hezbollah is protecting Lebanon. It's true Israel can go on a manical Gaza like rampage where it could ultimately devastate Lebanon but this is a unlikely extreme

Yes, Hezbollah has historical and religious ties with Iranian government. Doesn't change that they are an independent group and their exisistence in Lebanon is in the interests of Palestinian and Arab Muslims.

Sunni Muslims in Lebanon are also good people helping protect Lebanon. There are a few Sunni groups there like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Fatah, and the Fajr forces that coordinate and cooperate with Hezbollah.

Replace "Christian" with "Maronite". You can't put all Christian denominations in the same basket. There's Roman Catholics, there's Greek Orthodox, there's Armenian, there's Syriac,
there's Assyrian. You are referring to Maronites, they were the main allies of Israel and antagonists of Palestinians and Shia/Alawites since the civil war years.

Earlier today:

Lebanese media reports that Israeli soldiers raided the southern Lebanon town of Blida before dawn and killed a municipal employee.

According to the official National News Agency, IDF troops entered Blida at around 1:30 a.m. with several military vehicles, and stormed the town's municipal building.

At the municipality, the troops killed Ibrahim Salameh, an employee who had been staying there, the report says.

The Israeli soldiers withdrew at around 4 a.m., and the Lebanese army later entered the building and recovered the body of the municipal worker, NNA adds.

The IDF has not commented on the incident.

did France and the US condemn Israel for violating the ceasefire yet?

I don't understand why Hezbollah isn't doing anything to respond to the Israeli attacks and daily assassinations?

South Lebanon will become Israels graveyard.

South Lebanon will become Israels graveyard.
They won't invade but escalate airstrikes even though the current pace suits their objectives just fine

They still appear uncertain about what they want to do

Since the ceasefire does not stipulate that Hezbollah disarm. It just required Hezbollah to withdraw to North of Litani.

Israel is coming to realization that Hamas + Hezbollah can't be eliminated

It's possible they come to this realization and find a different approach

Or they double down which isn't going to work and could get them into a regional war with everybody. They're losing public support in the West.
