From a tactical analysis, it seems that the drones are being used to suppress the movement of IDF soldiers and provide intelligence on locations, and that is given the local forces more autonomy to move freely to be able to conduct these ATGM missions.

Israel historically responded to these defeats by mass bombings of civilians, and to some extent Iran has taken that option off the table for Israel for the time being. Israel is not in a good place tactically right now.

( It is also quite funny to see the Israeli ambassador "complain" of the issue of FPVs hampering Israel's illegal operations in South Lebanon, and its illegal ongoing occupation. It makes one wonder what goes through peoples minds ).
