Great development. Very positive news.

Its a "Defense" pact. Not an aggression pact. Not a pact where 3 countries are making an alliance to attack any country. Basically Best thing is to avoid wars of aggression. The pact will act as a deterrence.

At the same time, I also see opposite block forming up in few months including Greece, Israel, UAE and India

No operational effect as of today (Yemen killed 58 saudi-backed mercenaries yesterday, lets see if this pact will show any operational response).

Yeman killing mercernaries is just another normal year.

This makes Iran and Israel, arguably the two states that have done most damage to the region, to think twice. So yeah, lets wait and see.....

Indians have been crapping in their pants about the Saudis kicking out the huge Indian diaspora since the Pakistan-Saudi Defense Pact was signed late last year. Saudis have a lot of leverage over India--it is not a one way street.

As to this new three party defense agreement, this was coming since the recent Iran war started. Something was definitely cooking and now we see the appetizers on the table. As someone rightly said, this is going to be basically an anti-Israel alliance. BTW, Turkey was already almost a co-belligerent during the May 2025 Pak-India conflict by shipping some military supplies to Pakistan then.

My own view is that Pakistan should stay the hell away from the Middle East but geography dictates otherwise: Pakistan is so close to the Middle East that it comes under the CENTCOM on top of the economic/religious ties with various ME nations. So better to be proactive then to be reactive.

Since the Fall of Hasina the Ram Rajya of Hindutva Bharat has been losing in all strategic dimensions. This MECCA Accord is the last thing they want to see. Now only the neo-Hanuman Taliban left. And, according to Newton's Theory of Induction, they'll be gone too....

UAE similar agreement with India will not let them join it, or Pakistan to offer such agreement as long as India/Israel is in the loop, Pakistan main enemy is India so UAE won't help Pakistan (even with resources) against India if they hold a side agreement. UAE/Bahrain if not included will not change anything on ground, Main powerhouses in the region are KSA-Turkiye-Pakistan, and if you go back to Pak-KSA agreement, most of Pakistani members wanted just Turkiye part of the agreement and that's it, Qatar also played some dubious games against Pakistan, and its Main media house Al-Jazeerah has ran some one sided propaganda laced stories against Pakistan, hence it is banned in Pakistan now.

No, with inclusion of Turkey its even more clear that its not against Iran. Turkish people will NEVER let their govt get into unjust wars that are of no concern to them.

Its a defense pact. Not an aggression pact. The pact will not be activated if KSA is an aggressor. So Iran should not worry at all.
