Makkah Joint Defense Agreement: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

I dont believe that bro, you sounds like the Orange man, but without the toys of Orange man. Pakistan can practise with Talibstan (Afghanistan) first or even some groups like TTP. When those are defeated/occupied/destroyed for good, I will take your comment just a little little bit more serious.

You know what? Show your power. Macca pact provides the best opportunity to show how stronk you are. Go and defeat the Houthis first, they are at 5% of Irans power and capabilities.

Houthis are a small pain, Pakistan does not need to carpet bomb Iran, although without any air defence it is easily done. You might get one of your farmers to fire off a lucky shot, but yeah, try that shit on Pakistan, last time I remember you bombed one Pakistani target and we hit back 7 Iranian targets then your little foreign minister ran to Islamabad claiming we are "brothers"

Talk is cheap huh?

Do you even understand what a nuclear threshold means? I will not bother explaining the basics to you.
You can bother understanding it yourself first. You were claiming Pakistani nuclear deterrence was the reason Israel and India didn't attack Kahuta, when Pakistan didn't even have a working device or any means to deploy it. Had the attack gone through, the program may have been set back even further like what happened to Iraq.
On underground facilities, nobody needs to disclose classified locations to establish that Pakistan has spent decades hardening, dispersing and concealing strategic assets, especially not to satisfy some foreign expat on a forum. If you are genuinely curious, you can research the geology around Pakistani airbases and the mountain systems extending into the Hindu Kush. I will leave it at that.
This is a strange tangent you have gone into. What does any of that, if it even exists in the first place and known only to special people like you, have to do with this defense pact ? Is Pakistan going to move all these mountain facilities to Saudi Arabia ?
Pakistan also possesses a fundamentally different deterrence structure from Iran. Iran’s response was largely one dimensional, relying heavily on repeated ballistic missile and drone barrages, exactly the type of threat Israel has spent decades preparing to counter. Everybody knows how that ended.
Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia lack even this missile and drone capability that Iran has. I don't know why you have difficulty recognizing this fact. The three countries cannot pull off the meagre results even the Iranians achieved against Israeli/Western AD.

Pakistani deterrence capabilities, where they do exist are limited to India and cannot be exported to Middle East as that would compromise its posture against India. You ignore the domestic constraints Pakistan faces.
Pakistan’s response would be multi domain we possesses an active modern fighter force, extensive AEW&C coverage, dispersed air assets, road mobile missile systems and a nuclear arsenal deliberately designed around survivability and second strike capability.
This is deployed against India only and not available to take to the Middle East. It is also not enough to fight Israel AND India at the same time.
These are not “buzzwords.” They are basic elements of military doctrine. The fact that you do not understand them does not make them imaginary. Should I really have to go system by system and explain each one to you before you accept that they exist?
They are buzzwords to pretend that Pakistan has military capabilities far beyond what it actually possesses. Your fighter force, AEW&C multi-domain blah blah may be enough to hold off the third-world Indian military for awhile, but it is vastly inferior to what Israel possesses in all these same domains. Saudis and Turks cannot add anything substantial.

You keep talking as though Israel can simply repeat the Iran campaign against Pakistan by changing the name on the target folder. It cannot.
Israel can fire ALBM's non-stop at Pakistan and there is little Pakistan can do to stop it or shoot back at Israel. That is the bitter truth. How did you fare shooting missiles at India ? Majority were either intercepted or fell in open spaces. Based on that performance you are going to strike back at Israel ? Only in your buzzword filled dreams.
And dismissing nuclear escalation as “nonsense” does not make nuclear weapons disappear from Israeli operational planning or threat calculations. That risk would sit at the centre of any decision involving direct conflict with Pakistan.
We just had Sindoor last year, where India breached the sacred "nuclear deterrence" that Pakistani policy makers had relied on since 1998. You are now making the same mistake with Israel, alongwith mistakenly thinking Pakistan is going to deploy any of its nuclear assets in MidEast.
Stuxnet was an impressive U.S. Israeli intelligence operation against Iran. Nobody disputes that. But one successful cyber operation does not establish permanent cyber supremacy over every other nuclear state. Do you know how many people work in Pakistan's nuclear program? The number is close to six figures. We have had multiple cyberattacks against our facilities in the past. We are still here.. I dont need to disclose further.
I am glad to hear Pakistani nuke facilities have foiled cyberattacks, I just wonder what was the quality of those attacks in the first place ? Could it withstand a technical/human operation like Stuxnet ? There a plenty of Pakistani officers who have sold state secrets in exchange for money/emigration.

Point was Israeli cyber/covert ops capabilities far exceed what Pakistan has, another domain in which the Israelis are ahead.
But overall, I do not entirely blame you. Living in the U.S., you are constantly exposed to a media environment that often portrays Israeli military and intelligence capabilities as almost omnipotent.
Some heavy projection right there.

This pact is aimed at Iran, not Israel.

Naftali Bennett’s nightmare has come true. Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye have joined hands and signed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, with the standout provision of collective defence.

Back in September 2025, when the Pakistan-Saudi Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement was signed, I had said that the Turks would sooner or later become part of this arrangement. It was only natural for Turkiye to join. It would not be wrong to say that the SMDA was incomplete without the inclusion of Turkiye.

All three states have enjoyed deep strategic ties. They understand each other's strengths and anxieties. So, there is unshakable mutual trust among the states, regardless of who is in charge. On top of that, the recent events and instability in the region has strengthened this shared belief that the fate of our region cannot be left to the adventurist and destabilizing forces like Israelis.

Moreover, the states bring a complementary set of abilities to the alliance. Pakistan has the military might, Saudi Arabia has the economic depth, and Turkiye boasts a surging modern defence industrial base. Therefore, the states are very well positioned to benefit from each other's competencies.

It would be unjust not to thank India here. It was India's failed Sindoor adventure that boosted Pakistan's morale in its defence capabilities. India's subsequent decision to side unconditionally with the aggressor, Israel, further provided Pakistan with the space to become a diplomatic pivot.

Nontheless, it’s a huge development and Pakistan is becoming a genuine net security provider!

Incompetence of modi and trump aligning together put the need for this defence pact at the forefront.

I will give it some time to prove me wrong, nobody would be more happy then me if it is formed from reasons that muslim states get free from tutelage and not as another western tool for manipulation to shed some more muslim blood.
The elites and their families are enjoying the unlimited perks due to these hideous pacts, why would they change the status quo, its likely gonna be more of the same but this time it will be muslims killing muslims instead of jews/crusaders.

This retired general, a POW from 1971 war, understands it too well. Another POW, Gen Kidwai is the father of the Pak Strategic Command....

One Musibet is better than a thousand Nesihat....

Please defeat BLA, TTP, TTA and all other foreign supported terrorists in Pakistan first and then you are welcome to go on new adventures in Iran or Yemen or wherever you see $$$.

I am surprised to see a rational person like you with posting this and a few above. Don't get too wound up from this forum's flame baits. My sincere advice, bro.

Some may not like this idea but if you are thinking geo-strategically with the next 50 years in mind, at some point it makes sense to include Egypt and Iran in this defence agreement.

Egypt the largest Arab and African military, historical importance, and Iran that has had a difficult fraught history with its neighbours to the west. Once war is over, middle east stabilises it makes sense to bring these countries in for greater stability and prosperity.

Some border clash = Iran civilization will be ended by Pakistan. Oh no I forgot maybe Triple A coalition (soudi, kuwaiti, Bahraini) will inflict the final blow to end us 4eva while we're destroyed from eastern side by Bakstan.

Just watched this.
Though Ahmad Hassan Arabi doesn't have the historic depth and personal experience like the great Chas Freeman, Ahmad, along with Pakistan's retired diplomat Khurshid Kasuri, are the most brilliant Pakistani geopolitical thinkers. Objective and dispassionate.
