The great Chas Freeman is saying this new alliance is 'primarily' to check Israel's expansionism and no need to be invoked into action until Israel tries something. I greatly admire Mr. Freeman's words.
Also, looking at the muted reaction from Washington, it seems like the alliance either has Washington's blessings or Washington is unable to do anything about it--the ongoing war on Iran has exposed the limits of America's power. Too much on hand to deal with. I also think the broad contours of Middle Eastern alignments were discussed when FM Asim Munir had the extended 'private lunch' with Trump about a year ago. But just because this might have America's blessings doesn't mean the alliance is America's puppet: I don't think it is the American policy to allow Israel to extend beyond its borders despite the importance given to Israel in America.

America is asking middle powers to take responsibility of their respective regions security... it's a stated policy of USA.... American are not dummies , they know they have overextended themselves and it's not sustainable in the long run... Israeli are certainly not happy with it..... Makkah alliance has the blessing of both superpowers , china and America.... superpowers don't think like average dude on the keyboard.

The Mecca agreement is not an addition to the Saudi-Pakistani agreement, but rather a new and independent joint defense agreement that brings together Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan. The difference here is fundamental, as the tripartite agreement does not cancel the Saudi-Pakistani strategic agreement or replace it. Rather, each path remains independent and has its own obligations for each agreement, and God knows best its content and secret annexes.

Raed Qarmali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, explained
That the agreement “does not cancel or replace any bilateral or multilateral agreements between these countries or with other countries and organizations.”

Therefore, Turkey's entry is not an expansion of the bilateral agreement, but rather the establishment of an independent tripartite defense framework based on the integration of the capabilities of the three countries, especially in the military, industrial, technical, and maritime fields, without it being a direct extension of the previous agreement.

This is the time for Pakistan to ask the Saudi to get those 15 AH-1Z in Pakistani hands, so they can be deployed ASAP to the Yemeni border and the Yambuk port and Red Sea and equipped with APKWS to shoot down any drones coming towards Saudi, its port and its tankers.

Honestly - let those AH-1Z's rust out man - the WZ-10 will do a much better job for Pakistan as the main platform. No need to introduce small number of units to increase logistical and infrastructure costs etc. AH-1Z are of no real value now that the PA has focussed on the WZ-10's.

Should embrace it, Pakistan is located at the Eastern wing of islam within Eurasia, whilst turkey faces off to Europe, Pakistan has to address modis rsss India within Eurasia, 1.5b people, it's completely overlooked the disparity of size, sometimes people just put the two on a level playing field.



Hence to see Pakistan essentially rejuvenate again with even more allies and stronger ones ensures Indias civilizational ambition are curtailed by a much much smaller nation and that's the inner fear rarely vocalise
