Maldives sacks multiple ministers to pacify India

@Joe Shearer @vsdoc @Nilgiri - this was well done....

Dude you got threadbanned already :ROFLMAO:

I understand he's thread banned but the @Guynextdoor I knew was definitely NOT a Modi fanboi.

The Bombay duck must gave done a number on him.

Cheers, Doc

GND is not a bhakt....he has done plenty of bhakt bashing w.r.t Modi era.

But he has some correlation from what I remember on certain things. Like the correlations/intersections PVNR and 90s BJP had etc. He probably likes Vajpai a lot too. Kind of similar to jackdaws.

So quickfire way to rally him up like any hot blooded mallu is some tipple and axe to grind with some other country neighbouring India, big or small..... I mean thats what I remember from old PDF crew, lot of trolls he would just go into long term rants with. I think he singlehandedly made windjammer more India-averse than anyone else did.

This whole thread as a waste of time to read in the middle though, silver lining is @Jana Shah showing up to this forum (I didnt know she's back....spring onion!).

Jana I remember her story of putting one foot into Indian soil at wagah crossing in "there I visited!" kind of way lol.

Maldives has shoot itself in his foot.... India is already a hot tourist destination but I think it purposely didn't develop tourism related facilities in lakshdweep much in order to let Maldives have monopoly in that region and prosper as this is the only source of income for this country.....

As a peaceful and brotherly neighbor India keeps doing such gestures for her neighbors but idiot new president decided to hurt India to please China forgetting China is thousands of miles away but your neighbor will always be an India.....

Anyways after goa, kerala, maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, kashmir, UK, sikkim , Andaman and nicobar islands India will have another hot tourist destination which will boost the economy of this archipelago state.....

Let me put it straight to
@TheEconomist
@Faceless
@Guynextdoor

Has the Maldives harmed us?
Are we at war?
So three knuckleheads write tweets in very bad taste.
They also got uptight about the Laccadives opening up.

So what's going on?
Why is it now a matter of national pride to hunt down the Maldives?

My apologies to @Guynextdoor, but I was not in Moderator mode, I don't moderate threads where I am posting, obviously.

No, categorically not so. It was an ecological decision made by a responsible government. It is now being reversed. My views may be determined by simple extension.

Which archipelago state? The Laccadive and Minicoy Islands union territory?

Don't flog a dead horse.
I can tell you who it was not.
It wasn't that prominent Indian politician who referred to citizens of a country supportive of India as 'termites'. Each country has its irresponsible political fringe, that unfortunately, due to the immaturity and naivete of its citizens, finds itself at the centre of affairs.

Thanks it was totally my thinking but thanks for correction...

Actually they're quite competitive now with so many carriers going there. The price point is a moot point as it's high end full stop, so other options don't matter as the people going there already want to. These western tourists are wealthy full stop.
Ok good for Maldives. For me never.

Take the case of Bhutan. It is very pro-India and India takes care of everything for that country. Is not China still trying to improve diplomatic relations with it? In diplomacy, we can't brood over other countries' preferences.
China just took more land of Bhutan. Anyway foreign policy requires all tools so let’s not just keep using one.

Most are not aware, the more the awareness spreads, the bigger the response will be

Some of the recent simpering for Israel was a eye opener for millions of Arabs, others across the Muslim world
How well arab treat pakistani or any non arab workers in their countries is a well known thing. They are aware of you guys being muslims..Right ?

If some other country tried to create a base on Indian soil, I too would join a campaign like this.
Creating a base in another democratic country is a long drawn out process. Create soft power. Make the existence of the base beneficial to the people of the country. Then run a media campaign to explain to people of the country the benefits of the base. Then measure the traction the campaign gets. create the base after you get significant traction.

Or bribe the prime minister. Get the base. Get thrown out when the next guy comes in

How much bribe was paid to the last guy..
