Are you now saying that AstraZeneca got the HEK293 line from SII? Earlier you were adamant that AstraZeneca uses different cell line and HEK293 is only used by SII.

In fact, all these cell lines are commercially available. Vaccine manufacturers choose the cell line which is most suitable for their product. Even the genetic modification is done by the vendors (e.g. thermofisher in your references).

AstraZeneca had agreement with SII to manufacture the vaccine under licence increase the production rates and fulfil the vaccine demand worldwide.

It takes a generation to seed the plant of tourism. It’s not like I wake up tomorrow and realise that all the flights from India to Maldives have been diverted to Lakshvdeep.

I am have been planning to visit Maldives since 2017 but the flight schedule, cost and the time it takes there to travel have been among many reasons that it keeps getting postponed but when I do, it won’t be because I have a convenience of travelling to Maldives via India, it will always be I am travelling to Maldives, be it direct flight, via India or Atlantis.

India can give a competition to Maldives but cannot replace Maldives as a tourist destination. In my opinion Maldives being a small nation should refrain from conflicts and purely focus on its tourism industry but it doesn’t mean they should accept the thug attitude of its neighbours.

Thing is we Indians niether have same thought process towards the ummah and world according to ummah ka chumma nor the scale & international diplomacy and economics as likes of pakistanies or overseas pakistanies

but for starters almost 3 lakh indians and three lakh russian and almost one lakh israelies go to maldievs every year now if we make sure 90% of them go to lakhydveep instead just look at the impact and what hapennes when indian travel agents give better discounts to foriegn travellers on lashkydveep and dicourage maldievs rest do your own maths


and thts why we trade from israel to iran to saudi arabai nd from russia to usa and europe and from china to south korea and japan without antagonisisng anyone and having profictable mutual replationships with all

but here maldieves made a blunder and we are happy and now we got a change to develop owr own skills and assets .. dont worry maldieves se kya galti huee hai wo usko uskee sazzaa batyegee

Though I fully agree with Maldives demand for withdrawal of Indian troops and respect their sovereignty it would be foolish on our part to allow his president to immediately travel to India next month.....

Maldives has for no reason trolled India and all this just before Maldives president's visit to China so they can make China happy...... So let them bare the cost for sometime.....

From food, dairy products to medicines and even for cheap medical treatments they literally depend on India for everything and yet they dare use bad words about this biggest Federation of South Asia and it's prime Minister.....

Off course I wouldn't like permanent enmity between us but for sometime we should definitely behave like a geogrhically and population wise biggest country of this continent.... let them realize there mistake in deep heart otherwise if we immediately allow them to visit and settle then in their mind it will always be like "Yaar India hai.... Maan jayega... nahi manega to manwayenge"

I find them polite and well behaved. Most of them come here after their military service and seek calm places where they can get over their PTSD over time. They are mostly just hanging around and trying to have some fun.

I find the Russian mafia the biggest issue in Goa. I like Russians in general but the mafia elements engage in violence and threats even in goa to run their business. This is especially wicked because the flesh trade with russian women is one of their key 'value propositions' in Goa.
