It doesn't really matter how much they consume since that is on the demand side anyway, increasing production DOES NOT increase their demand......So once the production started flooding the market, the price is going to drop.

But we know its far from that simple, its over 2 years since the invasion and nothing has happened on this front. Flooding the market with cheap crude is a double edge sword.

That's because lowered oil price is no good for Exxon Mobile or BP......halfing oil price half their profit too.

I am just saying, if the west want to seriously F with Russia, flood the oil. But do you expect them to do it over Ukraine? The west didn't hate Russia that much to compensate these oil giant billions of dollars just to F with the Russian, better be high inflation and high gas price than high inflation and low gas price.
