This bastard who have no mandate and cannot win even council election is talking about more admin units that will fix the system?
Punjab have proven the biggest province is best managed! The more units will not fix the issue, though local govt need to be empowered. And perhaps Balochistan need to be divided between pashtuns and baloch.
Nothing will fix the current mess, not even dividing Pakistan into a hundred provinces.
The problem isn’t administrative boundaries; it’s a mindset frozen in the 1990s.
I’d like to sit down with General Asim Munir and share a concept for a hybrid governance model, one that’s genuinely win‑win for the establishment.
It's a hybrid system designed after studying multiple economics & government models including, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Estonia, UAE, Saudi Arabia.
| Region | Example countries | What they actually did (in practice) |
|---|---|---|
| Africa | Rwanda, Botswana, Seychelles | Cut waste, tightened governance, criminalized corruption |
| Asia | Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia | Opened economies, disciplined budgets, attacked petty graft |
| Governance | Estonia, Singapore, UAE | Digitized the state, reduced discretion, made corruption hard |
Establishment can maintain strategic oversight while empowering a strong local system capable of sustaining the shadow economy and driving real growth. While politicians only talk about promises without delivering anything and so call economist have failed, I can give him something that will really change the system and mindset.
The goal is to move away from Pakistan’s fragile three‑pronged economy built on tax collection, remittances, and petroleum levies toward a multi‑pronged structure that supports diversified, sustainable expansion.
With the right framework, exports could reach $60 - 70 billion dollars within 15 years, creating balanced, long‑term growth and sharply reducing the trade deficit.
