Netanyahu on his relations with Qatar:

Qatar has attacked me—just as I bombed it and attacked it during the war, and they attacked me.

All this Qatar business is nothing but manipulation. Qatar is a hostile state, but Qatar is not a state that imposed anything here.

Netanyahu on Qatar:
"I attacked Qatar, and not only that, I bombed it and launched attacks on it during the war, and in turn, it attacked me.
All this controversy around Qatar is nothing but a big hoax. Qatar is a hostile state, but it has not imposed its conditions or will on us here in any way whatsoever."

The stage of creating enemies always evolves in a remarkably noticeable way before elections; Israel cannot continue without enemies and wars.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Qatar:
I'm not talking about bombing Qatar tomorrow, but you can gather intelligence information. It is an enemy, and we must begin to act on this basis.
We will start a campaign—not necessarily a military campaign, but a public opinion campaign, an economic campaign, and a diplomatic one.
And we will join forces with our friends in the region—the Saudis, the Emiratis, the Egyptians, and others—to put pressure on Qatar.
In the end, it is a very small place, 330,000 people, and they are causing utter chaos and wreaking destruction on Israel.

This represents the Israeli opposition, and for the record, he was the head of West Bank settlements and director of Netanyahu's office.
I don't know where some people got the idea that the opposition is better than Netanyahu..
It's possible that the opposition is better than the current government if it's from the left in hiding the intentions of its actions just "more diplomatically," but now it has mixed with hardline right-wingers like Lieberman and Bennett, and Israel has become more concerned with the election campaign than with national and strategic security as it was before.

I am sure the Saudi's/Egyptians are happy to hear that the Israeli's think they are friends and will "gang up" on little old Qatar for them.
