Not too long ago, back in June, NATO countries presented their latest advancements in the Main Battle Tank technology at the Eurosatory expo in France. While on the first glance they might not look as revolutionary as some of the tanks we saw on the previous Eurosatory expos, this time, for the better or for the worse, a lot has changed. The two main tanks I will be drawing my attention to are the CAPINT from KNDS, collaborative company between Germany’s Krauss Maffei and French Nexter and the NMBT, which stands for New Main Battle Tank, developed by Italy’s Leonardo and Germany’s Rheinmetall based on KF51 Panther.
