- Well that did not take long! Mamdani revokes IHRA definition of antisemitism and allows for New Yorkers to boycott Israel if they want to.

Presumably then, the New York Indian community will do the right thing and unequivocally claim his as their true representative in New York?

I know plenty of UK based gujerati origin hindu brahmins who are already exceptionally excited about him.

Correct. And why I hate media sensationalism. He's not black so can't call him "African American" and currently, Indians have a bad name in the US so can't refer to him as "Indian American".

So what's left then? Oh, right. "South Asian". His only link being his parents are from India.

Ironically, for a place like new york where racist Fox News Commentators line up at Halal carts to pay some African or Libyan asylum seeker running it... Mamdani's "whatever the heck he is" aspect works out fine.

Yeah of the things that don't happen is Indian community being proud of a socialist. Indian Americans are to the right of political spectrum when it comes to economics. No freebies because only the bottom 10% need it and it'll be funded by the rest 90%.
