No JF-17 B3 with PL-15 Air to Air Missile (yet)

what difference does it make if we have pictorial proof of JFT C sporting pl15.. this whole debate is mindless and waste. PAF have JFT , j10C and PL15. they can marry any missile on these platforms. Remember, PL15 was delivered to PAF in 2019, right after Bharati misadventure. PAF didn't have J10c then ... again this whole debate is mindless and has a very Indian specific agenda to belittle Pakistan as they have been doing for so many decades. remember when IAf got su-30 or when they started a new tender for a nextgen fighter that never happened.

pl15 was a part of the j10 buy.

While i agree that the image of the JF-17 being debated is definitely NOT PL-15 and does look like a pylon, does anyone think this pylon is significantly longer than typical? While it may not be the pl-15 itself, im wondering if it could be the pylon used for PL-15 and PL-10. At a cursory glance, these pylons seem longer but it may just be the angles of the different pictures.

could be, coul be for any other weapon too tbf theres just not enough info. If PL-15 JF-17 was a thing, the PAF would have it in every press release calling it game changer blah blah- theyve talked about it for years but now when its time to walk the walk they cant lol

If PAF had not been able to obtain the J-10 and show Pl-15s on it, then it would indeed have been calling Jf-17 Pl-15 alleged combo game changer etc etc.

People need to understand two concepts which are very different:
1. Deterrence: Established by saying this is the best we have - needed.
2. Tactical Surprise: ____________________________ - no need to advertise.

lol, 'tactical surprise'? You mean the tactical surprise the PAF has been harping on about for years lol? JF-17B3 will recieve AESA, HMDS, PL-15, with the heavy focus on the PL15.

If PAF had not been able to obtain the J-10 and show Pl-15s on it, then it would indeed have been calling Jf-17 Pl-15 alleged combo game changer etc etc.

Well yes, but in fact I have much more stupid threads and titles. As such, asking what about the PL-15 on a JF-17C - especially since always claimed to be one of its core weapons for that type is well justified.

By the way, this was posted yesterday even if I'm not that sure about it: Allegedly a JF-17C with PL-15 during weapon trials at CAC.
