When Does Truman Figure It Out?

Well, this gives me some hope: I am trying to sell a considerable acreage lot to maybe rush into early retirement; the location is great but seems many acreage around are reducing selling prices. I am not in a huge rush though.
Thanks for the info.
If your situation is similar to ours; you don't have to sell; wait.

Can the Excuses: Just Get Moving!

You can come up with a million reasons for not being physically active. Some might even be valid. But know this: Stillness is bad. Roughly 3.2 million people die each year because of physical inactivity. Regular exercise, especially among older adults, is critical to good health.

Annual eye exam this afternoon. 2 years 9 months post-cataract surgery. Optometrist very happy with what he sees. Both eyes healthy, good blood flow, optic nerves look good. Even got to see the reflection of the implants in the scans.

Both eyes at 20:20 for distance with the left being just a little bit stronger.

As for reading glasses, still using +1.25. Anything stronger gives me a headache.

And, of course, I am happy. Having worn glasses most of my life, the freedom of not having them is wonderful.

Absolutely!

As my primary care physician said last week, I'm in better shape physically than his patients who are half my age.

Is the issue astigmatism or cataracts?

In my case, yes, I was extremely apprehensive about it. The whole idea of me being awake while they blew out my old lens and installing an artificial one was not appealing in the least. I even watched the video of the procedure. Yeah, NO!

But, I knew I would have to have it done because of the alternative.

As it turned out, my neighbor down the street had had the same surgery 2 years prior to me. And, as luck would have it, he went to the same place I was going and had the same surgeon!!! And he had nothing but HIGH regards for her. Now I am much more at ease.

Seriously, the surgery was painless. It took more time to prep me than the actual surgery itself. The surgery itself , each time (right and left were done a week apart) was less than 15 minutes.

Life changing.

I highly recommend it.

Schoolhouse Rock! is an American interstitial programming series of animated musical educational short films (and later, music videos) which aired during the Saturday morning children's programming block on the U.S. television network ABC. The themes covered included grammar, science, economics, history, mathematics, and civics. The series' original run lasted from 1973 to 1985; it was later revived from 1993 to 1996.[2] Additional episodes were produced in 2009 for direct-to-video release.

You got rid of wearing glasses? Was that for 'short sightedness' (yes, that's what it was called in Pakistan then; not sure now!) meaning you could read fine but required 'spectacles' (again, the British English in Pakistan!).
I have been wearing eyeglasses/spectacles since 15 for myopia/short sightedness. Funny thing is that one of my eyes was near normal then and one was maybe 1.5. And in those days, 'The Six Million Dollar Man' was quite popular on Pakistan Television and I thought one of my eyes was 'bionic'. Really!
Anyway, please tell me about your 'spectacles'?!!

Two exciting college football games last night or early morning 🌄 Sunday.
Indiana v Penn state. Indiana winning in the last minute to remain unbeaten.

Auburn v vanderbilt. Vandy winning in OT.
Both Indiana and vanderbilt surprise teams of the college season.
