Chinese favorite leaders are Modi and Trump. No one has done more for China than Trump creating chaos and fighting within their own union and dragging his country into a laughing stock. Modi does absolutely nothing but yap yap yap while the average indian living conditions has not improved and have become super reliant on chinese tech and US internet infrastructure and apps. So we hope Trump and Modi can be leaders forever.

The moment the spotlight is off them, their political life ends instantly. Why? Because their voter base is low-information — they crave emotional stimulation far more than reason. Nehru once said something classic:"No middle position attracted me. Nor did I think any intermediate position feasible."

So they have to stay extreme, and they have to be highly theatrical.

Modi and Trump may look like clowns and charlatans. But what made them that way is their voters — without extremism, they can't mobilize turnout. Of course, their cognitive limits are obvious. That doesn't mean they are stupid — on the contrary, it proves they are smart.

I don't think Modi has any physiological intellectual disability — but both he and Trump have cognitive blind spots, and both are timid at heart. They rely on putting on a deliberate show of arrogance and majesty. To be honest, timidity is not necessarily a bad trait in a leader. But one is treated as an evangelical saint, the other as an incarnation of Rama — and they are surrounded by sycophants. Over time, both Trump and Modi have come to believe they truly possess some kind of divinity. That is how Operation Fury and Operation Sindoor came about. You could say Trump was egged on by Bibi — but the final decision was his alone. Arrogance overpowered the timidity within.
