PA MLRS, Self Propelled and towed artillery [BM-11, Fatah-I GMLRS, Fatah-II] - News, Updates & Discussions

Chances are that for any conflict with India, these manufacturing facilities wont last very long given how close they are relative to India. Pakistan will have what it starts the war with, for the war. India is better placed as her facilities are much further into India's heartlands.

Better to have a bigger stockpile at the beginning for Pakistan, then relying on manufacturing during a war.

You need a large production capacity to build up a large stockpile in the first place.

If you zoom in on the poster besides the the Fatah launcher, you'd see
Fatahh standoff system,
Fatahh, Fatahh1 and Fatahh4.
Also three missiles are shown on the poster.
So @Panzerkiel what are the ranges of Fatahh and Fatahh1?
@Bilal
@farooqbhai
@Quwa
I think it's that 250km range rocket rocket is being called as Fatahh1 and 140km range version is the base version. @Panzerkiel kindly clearly the confusion, they are even marketing it so I don't think so it's some classified stuff that you can't post here.

I read FATAH-I, FATAH-II and FATAH-IV.

@Panzerkiel
How many Fatah 1s were fired, In 10s?
Were F2s even fired?.
And an honest answer, were we prepared for India's barhamos escalation?

Can Pakistan now buy the upgraded version SH 16 A:

The crew and maintenance of the SH-16 self-propelled howitzer consist of only two people.

The armored unmanned turret weighing about 14 tons is equipped with a 155-mm barrel with a length of 52 caliber—the standard for a modern artillery system. The SH-16A is said to have a maximum range of 53 kilometers using active-reactive ammunition.

Hopefully the next gen Chinese howitzer and artillery systems on wheeled platforms have soft recoil technology (allowing an up to 70% drop in recoil) and allowing smaller and possibly cheaper platforms to be used. Such that Pakistan maybe able to field many more platforms, that make it harder for them to be detected, as they can shoot and scoot faster.

Hey, while i was watching an article on belarusian mlrs(chinese A300) I recognized similarity between the design of fatah 2 shown by GIDS...Which clearly had the MLRS missile having 2 stages while the one that surfaced had a single SRM and set of fins(lesser complexity) and the A300.

i think what happened was PA decided to maybe screw that deisgn due to complexity or cost and just used a longer motor for the range...Here is the images of the design by gids and its similarity with A300...

I think they put some placeholder pics for some systems. Same with one of the Radars they used the pic of a Turkish system.

When we had babur and harba why would we need fateh 4?

If the Fatah 5 is based on the following missile, said to only cost $100k, with a 1000 km range, it could be very economical.
