PA MLRS, Self Propelled and towed artillery [BM-11, Fatah-I GMLRS, Fatah-II] - News, Updates & Discussions

Nur Khan was Spoofed
Bholari it did hit offside

But then - it is no mean feat shooting down the number launched

The Ukrainians are on record saying they have no good defense against it until recently
we have seen it now. We need to be able to handle three times more missiles Indians sent this time simultaneously, and fire back six times over.

each missile costs millions of dollars. I dont think Pak can do that. Underground bases, Pak can do that.

People fail to understand the wider context that war is 50% capabilities of systems, and then 50% economics. Having cost-effective & affordable solutions is extremely important or high-spec weapons are practically useless in a prolonged engagement.

Then it comes down to integrated tactical planning and strategy.

Also hardening the existing infrastructure is most important. Our soft skin large hangars are most prone to destruction and Indians did hit them, and got those nice satellite shots for propaganda. And we keep our more important force multipliers/ drones in there. Those hangars need to be hardened and only hardened hangars/ shelters should be built in place for these bigger aircraft as well.

Hard to do yaar, often those hanger are for day to day maintenence and need air con and easy access during heat, as well as needing to be big for planes like C-130/SAAB 2000. Every air force has these at major airbases, losing them is no big issue as long as assets are moved. IAF scored a few hits on these and obviously celebrated like they had take out Fordo.

This is why it was imperative to take out their bases closest to Pakistan (in case if the war widen). We failed to do all of that.

I think these soft skin large hangers have their utility so i would say we should add enough number of large hardened hangers/shelters along with them.

Then add more decoy hangars. As seen iran decoys did good job.

However,

Hardened hangers being expensive are still important and must specially in long term benefit.

Pakistan also needs to rapidly redeploy strategically important aircrafts to and from different bases. We are thin country cant assign them to bases. Its expensive so not saying we should but we assess on it.

Indians practiced hitting Pakistani runways and hangers for years. From Iron Fist to Vayu Shakti, they repeated this practiced over and gain and then achieved some hit on the 10th May.

They were well aware what their air launch weapons can do. Pakistan needs top tier AD system with coverage larger than 250/260 KM of HQ-9B. We need to be able to created an AD bubble inside Indian border as IAF has tried to do with S-400 by deploying them on forwarded bases like Adampur and Bhuj which both are little more than 100 KM from border and have missiles with 400 KM range.

hitting static targets is not difficult. with the Irani retaliation against occupied Palestine. AD are not that effective. the iron dome has become a sieve.

need a strategy, like how Sweden has done operating from non fixed bases.

When Fatah-3 and Fatah-4 are going to be introduced?
Fatah 3 is already in service.
Fatah 4 has more likely been inducted whilst it hasn't been made Public.(assumption on my part) And the reason for that is, Abdali was testing with statement training launch.
