Hi,

Our BLK3 JF17's are pretty advanced in EW and weapons package.

More F16's do not serve us any purpose---. Our current and future fleet would be JF17's. J10's, J31's and later the Kaan aircraft---.

I believe your air
force rates F16 highly IE the mist potent bar j10c
I think the issue is lack of USA support to.upgrade the falcons further avd USA may not allow Dutch F16s to go anywhere bar Ukraine

Right now the PAF fighter ac pecking order is
J 10C, JF 17 block 3 , f 16 block 52, JF 17 block 2 / F 16 mlu JF 17 block 1, mirage 3/5 rose upgrade, F7 pg non rose mirages.

Some of the non rose mirages are in the process of going through a upgrade.....which would make them into electronic warefare ac......so they will move up the pecking order

So if you know that already, why did you suggest it?🤔 Once upon a time, lack of US support for more F-16’s, in the absence of other viable / affordable options was a big headache & great source of joy across the border. How things change😉

I assumed the F7 and Mirages would be gone by now or next two years leaving j10 and thunders and F16 only ie three types which for medium sized air force is right

Otherwise five types and adding j31 is six types already ...surely too many effecting efficiency

Not convinced the F7 or mirages can survive in environments where their facing s400 barak super mki Tejas Rafale type threats

How much life is left in Pakistan’s second hand F-16s? they were acquired in the 1980s, Indian Air Force is planning to retire its Mirage-2000s in the next 10 years.

Yeah, just look what happened to the Indian Mig 21 a few years ago & they’ve apparently had every conceivable upgrade.

O I don’t know, they seemed to kick ass in 2019, certainly should last another 10 years too.

So this has already been disproven. The ROSE mirages where used to strike Indian positions during the Balakot incident. Using H2 AND I-REK (60km), H4 (120km) and RAAD (500KM), They can sit comfortably inside Pakistan and still strike IAF positions AND when backed by JF-17 and F-16 AND Erieye, they are still useful. So for now, they are ok... barely ok, but ok. The F-7s are priority to get rid of as i see nothing useful outside of meat shields.

The issue of more F-16s are that the US will not approve additional transfers if F-16 to Pakistan, especially after PAF used them to DOMINATE IAF during Balakot and with Ukraine in desperate need of fighters. Now with J-10 and JF-17, and F-16 and no real external tension with IAF on the horizon, PAF is also in a holding pattern due to financial issues of the country. Id expect another JF-17 squad in next 12-18 months at most. Maybe if finances improve, another J-10 batch. But F-16 for political issues, is not likely. If they had the option, no doubt they would jump on it.
