I wasn't trying to be facetious, just trying to understand the strategy. Incidentally, My line of questioning was trying to figure out why pursue 2 separate upgrade packages that may have similar capabilities, especially if you can achieve the same result with a home-grown solution, rather than spending money with the US, which clearly has been an unreliable partner.
No no, the question is fair and I look forward to seeing how each squadron will be equipped, what roles Block 70 ies will specialize in, which squadrons will get the Legion pods etc.

There has to be some kind of division of labor.

Maybe after the introduction of Gökhan ramjet missiles ÖZGÜR F-16s are going to specialize in air-to-air combat while Block 70ies deliver stand off munitions? Maybe the exact opposite will be true.
Incidentally, is it possible to integrate western weapons like the AIM-120s on the Ozgur upgrade package?
As for this question, of course. it's unthinkable to not integrate our vast stockpile of American weapons.

The real question is, how well the Turkish weapons can be integrated with our 80+40 Block 70 F-16s
 
No air chief was allowed to fly the F-16A for the March 23 flypasts. Solely in the F-16B with the a safety pilot in the back.

As to your why at the end, safety first because none of them have flight physicals to fly a fighter solo AND lack of flying currency to be trusted on flying solo. Safety matters first, and even the best have killed themselves (Noman 2020 crash is an example).
i can tell you for sure Jamal used to fly F-16A, and so did Abbas Khattak also Tahir Rafique Butt...there are photographs of them flying the A model for sure
 
Turks who consider themselves as europeans are only deluding them selves as the rest of Europe does not think of the Turks as european.....aa outsider..... people of the step.
As if they did then turkey would have been part of the EU long long ago, but its application is rejected on one pretext or an other again n again.
That iin it self should be enough for the Turks to fathom the gravity n depth of the seriousness of the actual situation.

Wt a load of bs.....How can reality be "racial superiority"......... europeans don't consider Turks as europeans n thats a fact.

Happy anniversary to the J-10, which - 26 years ago - performed its maiden flight on 23rd March 1998. 🥳

And in fact this was the beginning of a great journey of PLAAF watching.

What a historically significant scene! When our J-10 first flew, it was accompanied by the J-5 combat trainer aircraft. It was based on the J-5 fighter jet and referenced the design of the Soviet MiG-15 UTI two seat trainer aircraft. This is such an ancient aircraft, The J-10 brought a greater leap back then than the later J-20.
 
There is a serial number 22-113 for J-10CE and then there are also images of 23-107 ... I am confused, if 113 was inducted in 2022, then how come 107 joined PAF in 2023?
