PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

I am genuinely new to PDF.... don't know anything about these claims......I am not insider and yet I am going to make a bold claim......J35 will be inducted in PAF and PLAF at roughly the same time.......and there will be ToT.
I want to rub it on naysayers faces

40 is too many, Pakistan will buy 24 J35A at most. china is also not likely to transfer J35A technology.

The J35A carries the mission of competing head-to-head or even air combat showdown with the F35A on a global scale (since the likelihood of China's direct participation in the war is very low, the J20's mission is deterrence). China will not transfer J35A technology to any country.

Until Pakistan shoots down Rafale, I remain skeptical about J35A joining PAF anytime soon. Now I have changed my mind as India is bound to give up its illusions about Rafale,AMCA,Su57 and opt for F35 now. Then it makes sense to let Pakistani pilots acquire and familiarize themselves with the J35A as soon as possible.

total plan is to replace all F16s, F7s and mirages with J10Cs, 4 squadrons, 2 Sq of J35 and the rest JF17s ,
i do believe Pakistan need a class of J11/J16 for more TNT delivery per sortie..
Major wars are coming, focus will be on Pakistan and Iran now

I just hope this doesn't make us complacent. Its not the plane alone..... Rafale was on paper better then anything Pakistan had with price tag of $300m.

Now India is missing 3 of them.

I do not want to celebrate my prediction of Jan 2024 that J35 full one squardon will be fully operational by dec 2026… but i am seeing them arriving by dec2025-Jan2026 and full one squardon by Dec 2026..
Where are the lovely bitches 😘… who were lol when i said that.. 😘

J-35 will just enhance available mission types for Airforce , and planners
The planes will be more used for "Special Missions" having useful purpose
beyond direct 1 vs 1 engagement

I imagine the J-35 as special Unit , used very limited manner on special cases

May be new tactics will emerge in PAF with these planes on board

As the Pilots will fly these planes against F-16, J10C or JF17 BLOCK III , valuable info will be learned in Training,

I don't see these planes being the workhorse platform JF17 Block III are , but they will enhance abilities of Airforce no doubt

I just hope Pakistan doesn't rush into purchasing the J-35 like Hindustan did with Rafails. Any complacency will hurt both PAF and PLAAF.

If I'm not mistaken, PAF trained it's pilots on J-10s in China long before they were purchased and eventually inducted.

Nah. What money? China can't sell J-35 to Pakistan for free. When China itself is just starting to receive J-35 orders for navy. Unless ground based model is only for Pakistan but then that is even more expensive because the side production line would have to be financed entirely by Pakistan which would be tens of billions of dollars worth of manufacturing to divide into unit cost.

You would need orders at least 2 or 300 to bring the cost to less than $100M per plane.

Suppose China also is receiving ground based version for airforce, then there's no way China will spare the additional manufacturing capacity unless Pakistan can pay for additional lines for production. Maybe the numbers can be made better but I doubt Pakistan should bother. Stealth fighter is honestly much more offensive weapon as well.

It can be used to seriously hunt inside India. That would destroy India China relations entirely... much worse than even during 2021. China stupidly is still hoping to make India a consumer market.

Some here are saying a hundred J-10 and at least one full squadron of J-35. This really is too unlikely unless we're talking taking Chinese PLAAF J-10s but China also wants to keep them as numbers filler.

What China should do is promote its UAVs to Pakistan and drone swarms. That can be a serious deterrent to India without needing all this loud and noisy arms deals. Drones are much cheaper and get the job done.

Initial 36-40 (2-3 planes for Training School) plane order is sufficient to learn more about the platform

If we had ordered 150 planes I would say ok , that is quite big

36-40 is small acquisition, analyze how it will enhance PAF

Air Superiority ?
Special Mission ? Selective Missions ?
How it performs Day/Night?
Capability Enhancer in Missions ?
How well it will function with other planes ?
Where is it ideal to be stationed ?
How the Engine / Weapon package will perform ?
What kind of Servicing it need ?
Is it better then JF17 ? OR F16 ? or J10C ?
So lot of stuff will get ironed out as the plane is used in PAF

It is a new platform and new plane for PAF , so it will be a learning process

PL-17 cannot fit into the internal bay of J-35. If mounted on the pylons, that would increase the RCS and could prove fatal for a plane that would be of very high worth to PAF.

J-10 should be optimized to carry the PL-17s.

Is it fun to spread false information?
This will seriously affect your personal credit in PDF!

Any story which starts with words "Breaking News" I take it with pinch of salt
The word has been overly used beyond repair

However it is true that August 14th is often used by Pakistan Armed forces or PAF Or Navy to showcase their new achievements, also March 23rd

Just quoting a twitter post doesn’t mean that I endorse or am the source of that info. This is a forum and we post here to discuss things, I posted this to see what others have to say on this.
