Your talking about 2035 which is a decade away. Paf will replace the older jf17s and F16s if needed. At the moment we can easily produce more Jf17s or order more J10CEs but it seems paf is taking it slowly due to not much need or possibly a different plan, we will have to wait and see.
Decade is nothing in terms of jets replacement. JF-17 production rate is less than 20 units per year. And with export orders if any , the induction rate will be much slower. Only 20 J-10s have been received in last 3 years. No new procurement is confirmed. At this rate, we will be lucky to even replace our Mirages and PGs by 2035 let alone F-16s or Block 1s.

India's purchase of F35 is the best choice for China. India controlled by the United States is in line with China's interests. On the contrary, India's purchase of Su57 is definitely not the best choice for China. We are well aware of Russia's cautious thinking。If I had to make a decision, I would rather see India have AIM260 as long as it hinders their development of domestic weapons.Whether China or the United States, there is no difference in the essence of India's weapons testing ground ➕ The market. The SU57 has a spacious body, with a payload capacity and range that continues Russia's excellent tradition. After being equipped with advanced aviation systems, it will unleash its true power. On the contrary, the F35 was born in a peaceful era when the United States had no opponents. It was a project that attempted to meet multiple needs, and now there are many problems and troubles. The reason why the F35 still carries a halo is because the West has a well-established and vast military industrial system as a backing. If the F35 is left in the environment of Russia, It's a problem how many times it can be effectively deployed。
The Indians are a lot of things but I don't think they are stupid enough to fall so easily for such a trap.

Development of the local defence industry is important to them, and while many (Pakistanis) mock the Tejas program due to delays, it did end up building out the foundation for a strong network of infrastructure and technical capabilities. This can be expanded on for future projects.

You always plan decade(s) ahead in areas like this. Not for tomorrow or the next year. You also ignore the large number of Mirages and F-7s we need to retire and replace.

So we should use the opportunity of Trump's presidency to work with the US to force India to choose the F-35 and interrupt the path of Indian aviation.

Pakistan had the privilege of rejecting J-10s because Pakistan had F-16s as their front line fighters with decades of life left and because the American lobby in PAF was very strong. Even by 2014-16 we were being offered F-16s by US. Only when the US-Pak relations deteriorated in past 6-7 years and there was no hope of getting F-16s, Pak opted for J-10s immediately.
This time Pakistan does not have the privilege of having a 5th gen fighter and is neither being offered by US and never will be. So if Pakistan is not getting J-35s by end of this decade, it is probably because it is not ready to be exported yet not because Pakistan does not consider it matured.
I don't know how Pakistan GHQ and DOD politics work.
In 90 or some, PAF got American wheat.
Point is, J-10 was China’s first domestic fighter, based off of Israeli lavi project, and no air force will buy a new fighter without a pedigree.
It was wise, PAF waited 20 years to induct for it to mature.
May 2025 is first time any Chinese major military hw was used in a real battle.
It is other thing, this war helped sino military industrial complex to get world recognition.

This is why su57 is in their favor especially in long term with tot. i wish they go for F-35

PAF should have about 120 Mirages and 60 J-7P/PGs that need to be replaced. Even if PAF buys another 40 J-35s and 40 J-10Cs, it will need to continue production of about 100 JF-17b3.
And the early JF-17's are running out of airframe life and will need blk3's to replace them, along with export orders. the blk3's production line will actually be working under a lot of pressure.
That's why they are looking for alternative F16s

That would be great honestly.
5th gen in IAF is inevitable, sooner or later. Let it be SU-57 instead of F-35.

Another saga of low availability, issues here and there. That will keep IAF grounded even during peace times.

In the meantime, We go for J-35s.

But remember, The sudden “SU-57 for IAF” could be a propaganda from India as well. They might want us to make haste decisions and then go for F-35s later (least likely but not out of the picture).
Agree, india is beating US for F35 most probably... Su57 might be added ass limited numbers.. to fill the number gap
