PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

Is the PAF also updating logistics and maintainability at austere locations in support of the planned acquisition of the J-35AE? The PAF has bases for dispersion. Are the J-35s and for that matter the J-10s able to be dispersed with enough support to maintain a high enough tempo of operations per the operational doctrine of the PAF in wartime?

Is the PAF asking for a modification to optimize for shorter runway takeoffs, so operating from motorways will be possible from more stretches of motorways.

Three key words; Protection (in dispersed and hardened and camouflaged shelters near motorway), Posture (mix of capabilities), and sustainment (logistics).

Logistics similar to what being built for the F-35B in the USMC;

The entire technical know how and up keep requirements will be procured as well along with the physical assets. And PAF is professional enough to be able to execute the requirements including maintaining a secure and sanitized environment, devoid of any western influence on the air bases.

I agree they will be able to do this at the major bases, but my questions are with regard to building the mechanisms to distribute just the needed elements of maintenance and support to austere bases, and locations so that fighters can operate while MOBs and FOBs take heavy fire. Air defense may improve, but being able to disperse and carry the fight to the adversary without loss of tempo in a war that could change on a dime in a matter of hours should be planned for, if we get the needed funds.
