PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

You really don't understand China at all.

China has always enforced very strict news censorship. No foreign media outlets are allowed to operate in China. China's internet is the largest “LAN” in the world. All the foreign social media platforms you know, such as Twitter and Facebook, are banned in China. Even TikTok, which is owned by a Chinese company, cannot be used in China (we use its other version, Douyin) ...

In China, using a VPN to bypass the GFW is illegal. ------ The current controls are not as strict as they once were.

So, how do American media influence us?
Likewise, no one in Pakistan believes Indian media is credible. People here barely believe in Pakistani and western media.
1. BrahMos is very “famous” around the world. It is famous for its extremely poor reliability and low accuracy. According to NATO and Chinese military weapon system standards, it is a product that should have been phased out long ago.

2. India can only produce simple components and perform final assembly for BrahMos. They cannot produce the engine and guidance system. These components come from Russia. However, Russia cannot mass-produce these components either. Therefore, you can assess how many BrahMos missiles India actually possesses. @Oscar has already explained the situation to you.

3. Years ago, Pakistan raised concerns with China regarding the BrahMos missile. China developed the CM-400 AKG based on an improved version of the YJ-12. It is much smaller than the BrahMos but has significantly higher reliability and accuracy. The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has already purchased some CM-400 AKGs.
There are barely 60 CM-400AKGs vs 900 Brahmos...
Both Pakistan and India have a tradition of “bluffing,” though the extent varies slightly between the two countries. The situation in India is more severe.

India is a country where opportunism runs rampant. You should study this characteristic carefully.
1. This characteristic often provokes various forces, but it assesses the intensity of the provocation and does not voluntarily place itself on the brink of survival or extinction.
2. When the nation truly faces a war of survival or extinction, this characteristic does not manifest as resistance but as direct surrender. ------ In the various wars and conflicts between China and India, the number of Indian soldiers captured by the PLA far exceeds the number of Indian soldiers killed or wounded.

Nuclear war does not align with the interests of either India or Pakistan. Neither India nor Pakistan has the capability to initiate a nuclear war.
Now this sounds like some coping from Indian media.

You are correct, it is not in anyone's interest to initiate a nuclear war.

But Pakistan does not bluff when it comes to nukes. We prefer death over living under Indian subjugation. It is extremely foolish to convince yourself otherwise.

Given the terrible and tragic stuffs happening in Iran due it her lack of a credible air force, whatever being spent for the PAF is always less....

The Shah, himself a trained fighter pilot, used to understand the value of a strong air force....
I'm still baffled why they picked the F-14 over the F-15.

Egypt is already a US puppet.

Turkiye is too powerful to do anything against at the moment, both economically and militarily. On top of that, the Turks (despite everything) still have diplomatic ties to Israel, so i doubt the Israelis will do anything to jeopardize that.
They'll subdue Turkey through a coup or using a puppet through elections.

The day of Turkish coups are done, Erdogan made sure of that.

The Turkish army as of now is firmly under civilian control.

No way a coup happens.

Hi,

Why ask Deino---ask me---I shared with a couple of admins---.

Pakistan already has possession of the J35's---. That is a week---2 week old news to me.

@Oscar --- if this news is true---maybe I still know a little bit more than you---.
Not that I ever claim to know everything—I’m not collecting cherry points for twilight years, huzoor.

For the sake of clarity, let’s align on terminology:
  • Customer confirmed: This has been established and is no longer contentious.
  • PAF pilot training: Also confirmed through multiple reliable channels.
  • PAF access to J-35 airframes: This is now fairly evident given the patterns of training and exposure.
Where opinions diverge is the claim that J-35s are currently on Pakistani soil in operational configuration.

That’s the assertion under dispute.

To draw a parallel, recall the F-35 program: Dutch, Turkish (prior to their program exit), and RAF pilots all trained extensively in the US. They flew prototypes and LRIP units, many of which were earmarked for eventual delivery. Yet those aircraft remained at stateside bases like Luke AFB until all operational clearances, political conditions, and basing logistics were in place.

So yes, pilot access and exposure to systems is part of the playbook. But a few familiarization flights in-country or abroad do not equate to full operational deployment.

We should perhaps resist the temptation to promote every bit of hearsay overheard in aviation-themed drawing rooms or whatsapp chats into “geo-strategic confirmation.”

That thumbs up photo is from a J-10. And so far no desk and group has been setup for training PAF J-35 (they will have their own service designation) pilots yet......

And no J-35 aircraft have been seen at PAF bases yet, at least according to some of the pilots.
Hi,

I won't---.

If the item was not posted---i would not have said anything publicly---.

As for the ejection seat angle---it is more like the FA18 ejection seat---which is a prefered design nowadays.
The Martin Baker seat is a preference for PAF and it can be adjusted depending on the cockpit environment.

Turkey is run by her deep state. The preservation of the regime is its responsibility. Turkey wasn't founded on the basis of "general elections"....
