PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

As per some reports Chinese offered some other nice jets (Not J10C which already inducted) If correct it will give bigger heart attack to Endia.
Creating and spreading false information not only damages your own credibility, but also damages the credibility of your country. If that is the result you want, then go ahead.
So as per you we have recv only PL-15E then how can we shoot down 180+ Kms away Indian jet?
Although the correct answer to this question has been repeatedly discussed in the PDF, you still stubbornly insist on false information...

I will repeat the correct answer one last time:
1. The PAF obtained the PL-15E, not the Chinese self-use version of the PL-15. The Chinese self-use version of the PL-15 is not exported.
2. The maximum range of the PL-15E is ≥145KM, not “=145KM.” This is official information.
3. China has not announced the maximum range of the self-use version of the PL-15.

Bro, when it comes to Chinese affairs, Deino is indeed an authority. Even some Chinese military experts cite his views.

Besides Deino, there's another guy—Michael.

Both of them are highly credible.

On this forum, they are the two most knowledgeable about Chinese military equipment.

Hi @Michael

Just for my own learning and understanding, what is the main difference between J-20 and J-35? similarly F-22 and F-35? why J-20 and F-22 is marked not for export? it is just because both of them are heavy fighter? and due to their heavy double engines both has some uniques avionics and sensors that the other versions lack?

By the date of induction, both J-35 and F-35 are newer so it could have been more advance and could have niche technology?

I am curious because one can also adapt strategy like export version J-10CE and china own version J-10C? why that is not the case with J-20 and F-22?

Hi Deino

INT'L MOD.

Thank you for new info on J-35 A for Pakistan.
Kindly provide news and confirmation that Pakistan signed a contract with China to buy

KJ-500 and HQ-19 . ?

No country will sell its best weapon system to another country.

A heavy fighter is powerful and large enough. It is more suitable to be used as a trump fighter of its own country.

According to reports from Chinese official media, China's J-20 has been constantly updated and upgraded. Those J-20s that have been in service are also constantly updated. Obviously, China regards the J-20 as its current trump fighter. That's why it is not exported.

In the future, if the PLAAF begins to deploy the J-36/J-50 on a large scale, the J-20 may be allowed to be exported. But it is also possible that it will never be exported.

The J-10C is a low-end product among the PLAAF's main fighter jets in service. Its export will not have any impact on China's strategic security. Even if a serious leak occurs, it does not matter. However, if China exports the J-20 to Pakistan, then it will 100% be seriously leaked, which will seriously threaten China's strategic security.

So i was thinking right that as they are heavy, they can incorporate advance avionics and numerous sensors and is being continously upgraded. Thanks for the answer

How big is the J-20? Maybe. These pictures can help you understand. (Please ignore the performance data in the pictures.)

Our PM is scheduled to visit China at the end of August. It’s possible that certain agreements or developments may be formalized during that trip if haven't already

Not so soon. There will be assessments, trials, etc, before any contract can be signed, provided Pakistan selects them. Unless, ... all the requisites have already been discretely done. HQ-19 is tricky. Even if Pakistan selects it and signs the contract. It's going to involve a multi-phase process, involving inducting required technologies, developing infrastructures and command and control system, creating forces/operators and maintenance personnel, conducting trainings, drawing-up doctrine, laying down of comprehensive network of early warning systems, etc. So, it will take sometime to come to come online.

As per wikipedia till now China build only 8+ aircrafts and I don't know how they can deliver even small batch to Pakistan on August.

Keeping an eye on recent geopolitical developments. I think couple of J35s will be delivered sometime this year. I know that some here have more knowledge about Chinese weapons and security but one need to also keep in mind the drastically changing situation in our region. J35 will need some input from Pakistan as well for it to become a jet that will then become a favourable option for many other countries. Also keeping in mind the strategical interests between Pakistan and China, especially CPEC where India have gone all out to disrupt these projects, a quick delivery of couple of J35s is a must. And we know how quietly Pakistan and China work together and then usually give us all a surprise :).
