The Qataris and the Turks asked Pakistan, because apparently the taliban said they're open to changing their stance.

Its a ruse, a diversion tactic. Pakistan should be prepared to air strikes talib regime officials if they try and do any sort of suicide attack on Pakistani soil.
Bomb the talibs anyway, regardless of whether they want to discuss terms with us or not.

A SIMPLE RULE WE HAVE FAILED TO APPLY, DESPITE LESSONS THROUGHOUT HISTORY: WHEN NEGOTIATING WITH BARBARIANS, NEGOTIATE WHILE THEY ARE UNDER DIRECT FIRE.

I don't really understand how Taliban regime will benefit from 'buying more time'? Let them linger on and buy more time. They will still have to stop hosting the TTP terrorists and destroy all terrorist infrastructure. Does it make any difference (in terms of their capability to face Pakistan's punitive strikes) even after a month?

Stay patient with the negotiations. Please don't blame any of the mediators either. Both Turkiye and Qatar are our brotherly states. We should appreciate their effort in this regard.
I call b.s. on this.

Qatar's stance, I can understand, as they are a cuck nation. "Switzerland" of the middle east my foot!

Turkiye though, who wiped the floor with PKK through relentless economic and military aggression, without any diplomatic yield whatsoever, should know better than to hyphenate these jahil terrorists with Pakistan.

Pakistan needs to extract itself from this circus of a peace summit.

Right!
Also to be considered, the 'Afghan Taliban' are not some unified force. There are considerable differences between their leadership and hence we saw the agreement came close to being signed a few days ago multiple times but then some calls to/from Kabul derailed them. Regardless of their leadership differences, Pakistan is clear now and that message has been sent to them and for their own sense of survival they should listen to Pakistan.

The damage to Afghan economy and trade is enormous and considering that one of their main source of taxation this is hurting Afghanistan bad
Afghanistan NEEDS Pakistan to open the border and be compliant and as long as we don't they will be hurting

Whatever little bit of 'economy' they have is is near Kabul, Jalalabad and so for them the trade has to be through Pakistan with ports like Karachi and , when allowed, transit trade is through Pakistan to India.
They know the donkey train from Chahbahar is not feasible.

what are you smoking? I want that shit.....
I am serious. IRGC, talibans, hezbollah, hamas, they are all same. different names. they support each other. some very important people of talibans are living in iran. Iran supports them because iran wants to maintain influence over talibans.

A new twist in the Istanbul talks. Drone attacks in Afghanistan are by Pakistan. These drones come from Qatar.

-Deport all afghan refugees immediately
-Close the Pakistani Embassy and Consulates permanently and bring all our Pakistani staff home ASAP
-Permanently close issuance of any visas to any afghans. No exceptions.
-Close their embassy and tell them to leave ASAP
-ban their airline from flying to Pakistan!
-close the borders and trade permanently. We don't need smuggled goods from those trucks. The traders can find other countries to do business or do it within their own countries and change/adapt.
-Shutter the transit trade for good. We dont need it.
-Order all afghanis to leave Pak immediately and deport them if they don't. No exceptions. Do not issue them any documents to stay in Pak

oh and keep pouding them across the border, make life hell for them. No need for any negotiations. Let them fight each other amongst themselves

Deport any/all sympathizers of the talibunnies from Pakistan. No mercy or leniency, pick and deport immediately.

There is a saying:

"Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" .

Why Pakistan establishment is so stupid to continue these talks with these cavemen??

specially when we know how it will end up anyway, what a waste of time, money and resources. Totally unnecessary effort.

We all know this dialogue is a drama. TTP will attack again. Talibans are buying time. Indians and arabs are helping them. we should do aerial strikes next time if ttp attacks again. today talibans love money more than anything else. i think supportng groups that are against taliban is beneficial for us. we should always look towards other groups. we should always take decisions based on our priorities.

Because if we can get compliance through talks then all the better, it stops us wasting money and weapons on killing afghans rather then Indians

We are stuck with the Afghans whether we like it or not, and we want to force change in them

But they are such backwards idiots, they can't see what's good for them, so they continue this fassad and attacks on Pakistan

But let's be clear the border closure WILL WORK, it's just a matter of time, they don't have a alternative
They don't have the infrastructure for an alternative
Pakistan and KP and Karachi is vital for Afghanistan

So for Pakistan it's SIMPLE
We tell the Afghans we will fight them, we will hunt and kill TTP and BLA but as long as they are present in Afghanistan then the border will remain closed and afghans will be removed from Pakistan

The Afghans can try to fight via suicide bombers but they won't succeed

Finally some sense prevailed but for how long who knows...

The Mighty Taliban become the B!tches of India, and this "cease-fire" won't last long, TTP will still have support, and resources within Afghanistan, as India has invested so much into it, I think Pakistan needs to use this to first bomb TTP leadership, even inside Afghanistan if Afghanistan don't take any action and second which is more important is to start supporting those who are fighting Taliban, let them go wild on Taliban, use Turkey contacts to create a strong separatist moment in Afghanistan, if Afghando's think they can open a 2nd front for their P@jeet masters then we should open another front for them, but remember that Trusting a venomous snake is better than trusting a Afghando or P@jeet, both are Galeez qoum and will cheer the deaths of innocent Pakistani's.
