On March 31, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Airbus A319 (aircraft serial A-1102) flight PAF950 from PAF Base Nur Khan, Chaklala, Rawalpindi, to Wuhan (China) transported bodies of five Chinese nationals killed in a suicide attack near Besham in Pakistan on March 26. The Chinese were working on Dasu Dam project on the Indus River in Kohistan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. The aircraft departed from PAF Base Nur Khan at 10:08 PM.

On April 1, the aircraft departed from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport at 11:11 AM as flight PAF950 and arrived at PAF Base Nur Khan at 2:42 PM.

Interestingly enough Stefano Pontecorvo, Chairman of Leonardo, was ambassador to Pakistan for around 5 years a few years back, played a big role in defence diplomacy and Italian defence exports to Pak, probably helped push CAMM-ER, AW139, ATR-72 MPA equipment etc

Lots of Leonardo products he will probably be pushing and was very good at getting export of some sensitive kit approved

Current Leonardo products include stuff like high end EW kit, AESA radars, IRST, M-346 LIFT, AW-159 Wildcat maritime chopper and new AW249 Attack chopper and of course Leonardo is a big part of MBDA (Manufacturers of CAMM-ER), so they have very advanced missiles
