Happy to see the promotion, but in "English", what is his new erm job? What does he do now? lol.

Technically speaking, he has not been "promoted". He has been given command of the AFSC. Similar to the other services, senior officers at the 3 star rank are posted around to give them diversity of experience.

So he moves from one 3 star job (DCAS-O) to another 3 star job which is DG ASFC now. Both sensitive. Typically anyone running the operations branch (in any service) is considered to be an officer with potential to grow and eventually get to the top office.

Not really a "promotion". Just a rotation among the top brass to diversify the experience.

His job would be to look after the strategic affairs of PAF inclduing Strategic C2 nodes and other setups across Pakistan (built for D-day deeeeeep underground), remain in liason with Army and Navy strategic commands, maintain and enhance PAF's capabilities to deliver strategic punch when needed etc etc

Hey so I have a question, is there a way the Aspides we have in our inventory be used on the F-16 ADFs? Considering Aspides are based on the Sparrow and the ADF was all about giving sparrow capability to F-16s so can it be done? Not saying it should be.

You have a better chance of having them mated to the ROSE-I mirages.
The ADF's still need LM to provide the tapes to update the software for accepting the Aspide - and then there is the overall testing/release mechanism etc.

Dispersed motorway operation will require really good C-UAS across the country. Specially at lower altitude. Considering a capable enemy can sustain hundred of low cost ISR UAV operations across the border at any given time. (Observing from Ukraine)

Yet, today the Iranians still managed to fool what is the world's most sophisticated ISR net in both the IDF and USAF in spending PGMs on F-14 ground drawings mixed with thermally reflective paint.

Which means even low cost and various measures can still fool the most advanced surveillance.

Therein does lie a BIG lesson for BD especially if you think about dispersed ops and utilizing the terrain masking mixed in available to it - but off the scope for this thread.

For both PAF and IAF planners this is proof of a low cost tactic working and unfortunately I am still leaning to the idea that IAF does it better.

Are you telling us we shot down a Rafale Balloon (like the ones PIA sends over the border sometimes) rather than an actual Rafale?

So, over the last 14 years, you think we haven't even managed to produce 200 missiles, or 14 missiles each year? Aren't 200 nuclear-armed Ra'ads enough? Even if 20%, or 40 missiles, hit their targets successfully, that's 20-40 Hiroshimas. What the fcuk do you want them to do? Terraform Mars?

brother in total we have around 200 nukes , we are not going to put them in slow moving CMs when we have shaheens and ababeels , so he is right i dont expect more than 10 -15 nuclear armed CMs
