The more logistics you have the better - these usually run the peacetime backbone and then more so in conflicts

I guess PAF now also need to make up for the retirement of the CN-235 Fleet too (bizarre situation!)

No - it’s called poor and more importantly myopic planning based upon the whims of individuals in charge who want to shape their own legacy every 4 years - instead of going with longer term foundations.

Do we know the story of why we are retiring so early!?

How is the 24 number exaggerated?

PAF had around 16 C-130s in the early 2000s, (Mainly C-130B/Es), PAF put all these through an extensive avionics upgrade by Rockwell in 2017.

Belgium order was for 8 used C-130H.

There has been no C-130 loss or retirement since 2017, so 16 planes plus 8 Belgium planes = 24 aicraft no? PAF also stood up another C-130 sqd at PAF Faisal a year or so ago.

Or am I missing something here?

Please check the Data base

Yes, I did, what is your point?
It is not me who was making point .... Infact I am not even in the point scoring game here.

Brother it was you who was asking me why I was doubting the quoted figure of 24 operation C-130 in the article, so reason is here as stated by scramble.nl and Quwa.

Sure, you said the article was exaggerated, but database shows 14 active plans, once you include the Belgium planes that os 21-22 active planes. So not far off the 24 number you claimed was exaggerated.

some ones retirement fund n mostly its at the top

Not a case of winning is it? If you make bold statements and pass them off as facts you may get corrected, that is all.
Would you just shut up ????

Where have you seen me making any claim or passing any statement as fact ???

It was me who questioned the quoted figure in the article and said the authenticity is 50/50 you were free the take that article as gospel truth it was your right which you exercise.

I too have the same right to to accept or reject any article and I exercised my right, so why are you so upset and forcing me to accept that article???? This is not your right to force me or anyone to accept that PAF is operating 24 C-130

While the figure quoted in Article is proven wrong not just by Quwa but also the independent and reliable Database so rather to force me for anything correct your own behavior.

This is my last post for you on this topic.

@Waz ... My posts and his posts are on this thread for everyone to read and decide, please take note and intervene as I don't want to involve in unnecessary debate on an article from shady source.
