> He says that In the next battle we should be able to deploy unmanned assets with same efficiency with which we deployed the manned ones these UAVs should be numerous so the can easily replace each other,he said that PAF is going towards stealth UCAVs

> PAF has drawn few lessons from the skirmish, few drones managed to get through according to him PAF started the focus on air defence relatively recently and the air defence is a relatively new system which caused some limitations in its employment. After debriefs, for future PAF is focusing on 4 things:
1: specialized anti UAV systems like CIWS,laser based(DEWs?) and EW systems to break the drones datalink.
2: increasing and upgrading the ground based sensors.
3: going one step further in airborne EW.
4: he also said that we are going 2 steps further from HQ-9, didn't disclose any details later when being asked about hq-19 and KJ-500 he said InshaAllah.

Air Marshal retd Arshad Malik's new interview
Some highlights
> He says that he was posted in china when J-20 became operational and they requested for J-20 and some of our people were allowed to check it out then, but the Chinese took a policy decision to not export J-20 and instead offered an alternative in form of J-35 and PAF has been involved in the project since then and we sent a team of engineers and pilots to evaluate it.

> PAF is definitely buying J-35 but we are waiting for it to mature which he says is 'around the corner' according to him PAF wants a finished product and dont want to modify it later as that will further delay the induction.

> PAF is buying second batch of J-10CE that will come before J-35As.

> PAF is pursuing upgradation of F-16s to latest block to make them equal to the Rafale.

More speculation

Frenchie's returned the favor to Indian smart assery by promising 126 and then only going for 36, doing "Hard" negotiations for three years and showing the attitude during that time.
Not true. It was budget issues

If this news is true... Then most probably china want to keep J35A deployment limited to air Base's where only Chinese jet and other equipment will deployed (no American stuff) .. plus Chinese stuff for observation..

Most probably this condition was added after Pakistan higher military and air force officials back to back visits to USA after India Pakistan may conflict..

China realized that Pakistan arm forces specially PAF still have interest in American equipments and this connection can be dangerous for there tech confidentiality ...

They definitely don't want PAF to restrict use of J35a jets ... (As American restricted us) .. they only want the technology to be secured from Americans hands
More speculation

BJP mouth piece at work. Someone should tell him that Center for AI as a "center of excellence", is different than a small EW suite in a jet. A Center of Excellence is built usually at a national level for a much larger goal than a small EW suite on a product, like Rafale here.

Our center of excellence are designed to build a national human resource and technology capability in AI, to advance in that field and support both the local defense industry, foreign countries, as well as the commercial sector through innovation. GIDS is a perfect example here. Majority of these guys only bark. There is less than 30% substance per my research in what they say.

Untrusting Indian news source. I'm surprised he didn't have a heart attack writing about J-35, KJ-500 and HQ-19 in Pakistan's context.

But China will definitely ask Pakistan to maintain some system to keep these systems "if acquired", separate from F-16 block 52's, because those could have sensors in them to transmit data and if I remember correctly, these had US contractors with on and off presence for inspections?

So the Chinese will naturally not want any US contractor or sensor near their top tech.

They fully trust Pakistan and know that their technology is safe in Pakistan's hands, that is why they even share the tech that they use themselves.
They trust Pakistan... For sure ... They supported us like brothers

But trusting Pakistanis is different case ... Mostly Pakistani don't trust other Pakistani unfortunately...

Hi,

Why did he need to visit---? Really no reason.

If we think logically, the only reason why CAS visited the US was because he was SUMMONED. Not only was he Summoned but so was the COAS. The US really want to understrand what Pakistan is upto and what capability they have. And I would not be surprised if US tried every dirty trick in the book to ensure that PAF does not progress any further than what it has. This is NOT an opinion but A HISTORICAL FACT THAT US HAS ALWAYS DONE THIS !! And there is a very good chance of PAF doing exactly what US wants them to do.

Is he reading my posts? 🤣

They surely trust us....but what about us? Aren't we used to ride on two boats ?

Key takeaways from the interview with AM Arshad Malik (Vice Chief of Staff PAF and ex Chairman PAC Kamra):

- PAF requested for J-20s back in 2010s which were refused at that time, J-35 offered instead

- J-10s were always sought out by PAF

- Chinese engines were the major reasons that kept PAF from pursuing Chinese jets until now

- Unlike J-20 (which needed a lot of time to get matured), J-35 didn’t need much time to get matured thanks to the J-20 experience and J-35 induction in PAF is “RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER”. PAF wants to get the J-35 without the need to make active major modifications (i.e the platform should be fully matured, tested and integrated)

- More J-10Cs are imminent, We are getting them soon

- Interviewer asks about the upgrade to the 76 F-16 fleets to which he replies that the F-16s will be upgraded and will be brought on par with rafale tech. China will have no issues.

- Interestingly, Abraham accords was a major focus during the convo despite its irrelevance with AM Arshad Malik. Pak isn’t interested to sign the accords.

- Israeli missiles tech transfer to India were discussed, We have the capabilities to handle and respond to all the threats.

- Finishing statement, Interviewer asks AM AM about India possessing a unique Rocket fuel that boosts every missile into hypersonic capable to which AM AM gets confused “I don’t know about that”, he replies “Gow muttar (Cow piss)”.
