The fact was China starts CPEC with Sharifs minus Army role and that gives the ammunition to Army at that time to sabotage it by using the Donkey King into the play right very after of new govt forms and CPEC starts. He threatened Chinese Companies that he will halts all progress on CPEC when he became PM as all agreements are corruption riddled. Thanks to his shenanigans with Chinese no progress occurs in his tenure on CPEC.

How do you think shareefs got billions, and can buy out army leadership, judiciary, bureaucracy and ECP.. siphoning off and kickbacks from CPEC contracts.. chinese happy, sharifs happy.. Army were not happy as they were not getting a slice of the cake..
