Pakistan and Kuwait discuss expanded defence pact, sources say

I think Pakistan’s manpower is what Kuwait needs. If things escalate more it’s possible Kuwait can face ground raids or even an invasion from Iranian aligned militants in Iraq. Kuwait cannot hold off an invasion on its own. Maybe Pakistan might ramp up recruitment in the coming years to fill gaps caused by sending manpower to Middle East. Even if Pakistan denies manpower could be part of the agreement they can be saying this for optics. I think ground operations could start of Trump attempts to take any Iranian islands or even be crazy enough for a limited invasion of Iran proper.

Its not even that bahi, I really don't have a dog in if Pakistan joins this bakwas or not. Some people really want us to flex our muscles, go for it. LOL, no skin of my teeth. I get it, people want Pakistan to manifest her destiny and work with partners in the gulf to open new doors, but what is the cost? does it outweigh the benefits?

I am simply looking at this from the perspective of someone who knows the state of our nation right now:

Full monsoon season hasn't even started yet...

To all the experts saying, “This war is none of our business” and “Pakistan should stay out of it” — perhaps take a moment to understand who is currently keeping Pakistan’s economy alive.

Pakistan’s economy is on life support. And who is providing that life support? The GCC.

Who gave Pakistan funds to shore up its foreign-exchange reserves and stabilize the rupee? The GCC.

Where does a major share of Pakistan’s remittances come from? The GCC.

Who is one of Pakistan’s most important regional export markets? The GCC.

Where does the overwhelming majority of Pakistan’s oil and gas come from? The GCC.

But yes, apparently we should pretend none of this concerns us because typing “stay neutral” on this forum is much easier than understanding basic economics.

The GCC is quite literally Pakistan’s bread and butter. We do not have the luxury of simply ignoring what happens there.
