I have no particular view on this if it is good or bad except that why are people surprised?

They’re surprised by how military establishment is now openly attempting to "legalize" their illegitimate dictatorship over the country through a "constitutional" amendment.

its really concerning how in the midst of all this, NOTHING for the benefit of the ordinary awaam is being done, or even talked about.
That is the greatest travesty of all this bullshit constitution, the military, the judiciary, the executive, politicians, bureaucracy, govts.......jiska jo dil kerta hai wo kerta phirta hai, no accountability.........

Awaam ko to koi faida nahi, i even think they've stopped caring a long time ago. They just watch the news tickers and don't care. Just watch topi dramas happening without any regard. Its one of the most important/critical point of reaching/arrival when your population stops just giving a shit about anything......it gives all the enemies(domestic and foreign) a very valid and strong opening into internal affairs meddling to create chaos and anarchy as the people start to side with whoever gives them $$$$$. That's what it has essentially come down to.
