Pakistan General Elections 2024

Apparently PTI backed candidates are winning. They may not be the majority but easily the second largest party. Shocking results so far

The results do change quickly in Pakistani politics after 12AM so let’s see how the night unfolds

Not really, Army has been doing PR for PTI indirectly for nearly the last 1 year nonstop. That too, the PR of 'Imran the Martyr'. Expected result.

Don't be silly.

Nawaz Sharif winning on every front. PTI is finished.

Give it a few days. The results will be known, as well as the responses of the candidates and the people.

I'm finding this all very funny. Oh well not long to go now, and yes it's important to wait.

It is just another continuation of the sick joke played on the nation for decades, all the way back since the "90 days" promise by the baani of Pakistan, the great Marde Momin Marde Haq General Zia Mardood.

Its Done PTI has won. Now balls in the Establishment Courts. Accept defeat and submit to the will of the people or sow the seeds that will lead to eventual civil war.

Exactly, a vote for IK and the PTI has become a protest vote against the status quo. Considering the economy, people are signaling they want change. There are legitimate supporters but there are also just people fed up with the uncertainty.

Had they let him serve out his term, he would have been judged on his merits.

Oh well, everyone is learning lessons in democracy today.

System is down, something is fishy.
Too slow...

PTI SHOULD win, but the results aren't announced officially and unofficially. This means that "system errors" and "uncounted votes" could suddenly rear their ugly heads.

This farce of an election is far from over.
