Imagine your defense minister saying we won't escalate if India doesn't attack Pakistan further all the while Indians were terrorizing Pakistanis cities with drones. Compare that coward khawaja Asif to India's MOD. They were clear about their goals and we're reckless to achieve, it should have been us, we should have acted recklessly after all we are the ones with weak economy and smaller forces, secondly we gave foreign pressure.
Inshort we have incompetent leadership who doesn't care about Civilian life. They are care about their personal glory

I actually think neither Pakistani military nor civilian circles have sat down and thought about what an actual shooting war with India would be like and if any SOP's could be prepared or training given on how to speak and think and keep your nerves during a war. The excessive deference given to foreigners was once again a factor in the war as well, we know the GCC was being asked by India to pressure Pakistan into not retaliating and they were complying.

Frankly what saved the day in last war was the immediate unity of the people of Pakistan, the hubris and oafishness of Indians and the excellent performance of the PAF on the first day. Matters could have turned out quite differently if the army was tasked to be first to respond.

It's alarming the unpreparednes of our leadership, there should be a separate war ministry for this purpose. And a change of doctrine for Pak, Quid quo pro is invalid now, it has failed to deter India, we need an offensive preemptive strategy, but with arrival of an asset like J35 they would have go preemptive on the indians, they can't afford to lose them in a barhamos first strike, They cowards in corridors of power will have to fight that war no matter what, they've just delayed it for a few yrs at max.
TBH I wish PAF hadn't shot down Indian planes, PAF and PA could have launched heavy retaliation.

I just highlight our lack of a proper management in our defense industry no? Just like Bilal Bhai has pointed out no?

Now I bet we do got a SHORADs/ E/ O/ Radar guided AAA etc design 100%, but we got a few prototypes only. Large scale production/ induction was not done.

Quwa has highlighted this shortcoming.

Why did we fire only 56 A-100/ 200's? Why didn't we fire 1000?

Why didn't we use Kamikaze UCAVs at low level like the S-136 with Baburs at mid level and the the A-100/200/ at high level?

There was no indication of an attack plan/ tactical operation.

War ministry? In a country where even the PM doesn’t have a say, what would this ministry do.
We all know who calls the shots. In fact you don’t even need a defence ministry. They are like a rubber stamp with no say whatsoever.
The newly christened FM Saab has all the wisdom required to look into these matters.
