In my view, the JF17 is the unsung hero, it's the most numerous of the fighters that can fire the PL15, and I wouldn't be surprised if it took the most kills.

Agree - not sure what the limitation is since we now know the host platform does not need to lock on to the target with its own radar now.

The structural changes are too significant to bring Block II to Block III standards apparently.
