Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

So the indians lost 6 aircraft, maybe more, had their air force grounded for 2 days, forced to fly deep within their own airspace (severely placing them at a disadvantage), firing a few SOWs along with dozens of SSMs (of which most were defeated), had multiple of
their airbases hit and a radar for the S400 destroyed...all for a few hangars being hit and a small hole in a runway that was patched up? They didn't destroy a single vital offensive or defensive asset on the Pakistan side, and after losing a significant amount of material they claim victory?

Is this true?

If true, Pakistan is making a declaration: "Listen up Modi. Make one wrong move, we will no longer see the LoC as boundry of ROE."

This is the right way forward and it puts Modi on notice that Kashmir, as integral part to Pakistan, would not only reset the narrative but give Pakistan the legal and political basis to act with force.

He didn't mentioned crossing LOc and dog fight.
Raid can be bombing campaign
Shiv Aroor is a respected military affairs journalist on NDTV and also contributes to many other TV channels.
He mentions "Arial battles " and "loud explosions ". How could he view "arial battles " if the missiles were fired from outside Indian airspace?

Does "arial battles " mean dogfight or a bombing campaign?

IMHO:

outcome of Russo-Ukraine war will come out in next 10 days, it will have impact on this conflict as well.

India is downplaying US to prepare for the next attack now, US hypocrisy is clearly visible. USA is not interested in stopping India to re-arm quickly. Both are complicit.

India is planning something big, neither Trump nor Modi have the next term.

Next 60 to 90 days critical for Pak, because, there is also a risk of Iran Israel air war...

Can anybody explain to me:

How Pakistan shot down 5 IAF jets on including 3 Rafales(Pak claim) on May 7?

But none on the day of May 10 even though IAF was doing the exact same thing using SoWs and more over it struck military targets, higher in numbers and much further into Pakistan?

May be the answer will tell you why India would achieve its objectives of op Sindoor and why there would be peace in Kashmir going forward.

@MastanKhan @Oscar @Meengla @Waz
Given the Godi media perceived ‘air dominance’🤣 by IAF on the 10th, why don’t u tell us how many PAF jets u shot down that day?🤣 We shot down 6 on the 7th, that’s how u demonstrate ‘air dominance’ not by firing a few SOW’s from well within the safety of your own airspace and scampering even deeper I into more Safety as soon as u launch them🙈😂 Desperate 🤡’s trying to cope with unmitigated humiliation of 🤡AF🤣same as they were doing in 2019.

War is a profitable business, it seems (more profitable then manufacturing in India)

Just 100 hours of war and India has re-armed with 5B $ worth of missiles and ammunition.. imagine what 10 day or 30 day war could make them!

So when India was winning why is escalation to be "avoided "
Would the destruction of the Pakistan Air Force been a welcome "addition " ?
Why stop when you are winning?

So Pakistan's counter-strike did not go well. All the more reason not to accept a ceasefire, which by the way in the semantics that India indulges in is not a "ceasefire " at all but a "pause".

The word "pause" is even more hilarious in this context because no country fighting a war pauses an operation to give the enemy time to recoup. A "pause" is usually done under international supervision, for humanitarian reasons to allow evacuation of civilians, delivery of food and medicines to affected civilians, and exchange of prisoners of war.

So Indian acceptance of a "pause" when none of the criteria apply, is baffling.
Most of the fanboys think that it was a cricket match in which one side had to win and one to lose.

It was a skirmish with both sides having an aim. Sim to give a message. Indian message was to stop supporting terrorism in Kashmir. It was ready to accept a certain level of escalation which happened. It also got a shock on day one in the form of loss of many aircraft.
Pakistan had an overwhelming pressure to strike back so as not to be seen as a walkover. So they also struck back.
India after loosing few aircraft had to salvage something but not to the extent that it starts a war, so launched strikes all across and a successful one while Pakistan strikes didn’t make much of a mark.
This was right time for India to disengage with a little narrative to its side and satellite pictures to prove that it had taught a good lesson.
Pakistan too couldn’t have gained any further if the hostilities continued.
This prompted both the sides to accept the ceasefire.
No one wanted to WIN a war here.
Hope it clarifies to the fanboys that this cricket match was about claiming who bowled or batted better and not an outright win.
I hope it is not baffling anymore.

This is probably the first well balanced rational response I've seen from an Indian on here so far, and comes close to accurately describing what has happend. And you're right about the cricket analogy, both sides treat cricket like war, and war like cricket.
