HQ-9 performed really well in the war for Pakistan to only have a very underwhelming 2 Squadrons of HQ-9


We should order atleast 5+ more HQ-9 and also HQ-19 is nice too

The issue is cost.

Air defense systems cost billions for a single system of batteries, radars, CCs...etc.

Buying 5 would cost as much as half of the entire official Pakistan army budget.

We have 11 HQ-9B and 8 HQ-9C squadrons.. sab indians jaldi note karlo jab tak mods iss post ko delete nahi kartay

And sorry we also have 3 squadrons of HQ-19

Guys , I have marked All Operational 9 IACCS NODES/HDBTs .
(Them being only 9 and operational was a claim made by an IAF officer - retired i think) I am a little skeptical about the ones in barnala and Bengaluru as they don't have the UGF unique to these Nodes but IAF has been posing around them .
One of which looks like this from the inside (we just have to narrow down , pic is from may )
-looks like the one in Bengaluru (the women look kinda south indian (not racist) and the large screen shows southern India which could be intentional) I m trying to narrow it down by looking at the left side of the pic...lets see how that plays out.
I will be uploading a Video May maybe on this in good detail cuz i am still a student.

Good question.
This on going war in ME should give our planner some food for thought. You can rely on 20/40 missile stockpile.

Which brings the question of budget and capability versus the idea of how much do you purchase that you have to store(means places to store them) , move and maintain (logistics planning and training) and then consider their lifespan.

I don’t know the capacity of the Russians to output 10 batteries and the number of missiles ordered but I will suspect it has picked up since 2022 although it would be surprising if it has surpassed the Chinese
