NY Times topmost story this morning was about how Trump wants to carve the world into three 'spheres of influence': China, Russia and America. I had said in the first version of this thread that America needs an 'Economic Monroe Doctrine'. So there is hope for the world IF Trump is allowed to succeed. But in that scenario, India would be left high and dry. Good!

Interestingly, it's been predicted in the Turkish media too....

No wonder President Trump is after the minerals in the Af-Pak region. IMO he should be allowed to build his very own "Mini Dubai" in Gwadar....

Without a guaranteed UNSC Veto, India is extremely vulnerable in geopolitics. What if some 'understanding' is made between the three powers (USA, China and Russia) to squeeze India over Kashmir?
Indians don't really know yet how Modi's 'Muscular' foreign policy has made India weak geopolitically. Economic power doesn't always translate into 'influence', otherwise Japan would be giant influence.

Sir I care. Money is not a problem as far as china is there. What we need is to become brave and aggressive. We are a country who has kulbhushan yadav in jail but we can’t execute him. It needs courage and power. You must understand that Musharraf was different from this army. No offense. He was like a warrior. Gd bakshi cried in one video when he was describing kargil war. Same gd bakshi now threatening your existence.

Time has changed. India has become more powerful and powerful countries usually eats nearby peaceful countries. We are too peaceful. We have seen how abhinandan got away within one day and there was a woman standing beside him when he was about to be handed over to Indian officials on the border gate. A woman? Really? This is not us sir.

We need aggressive policies and a group of think tanks that reports directly to pakistan army. This think tank should be responsible to devise a plan to break india into pieces. All this is not possible without china. China is our friend. China knows it will be alone in the region if pakistan vanishes and india capturing Pakistani lands put Chinese under threat.

Time to revise strategies. Hurt enemy inside enemy territory. Go out. Don’t come back. If you don’t come back, you will be called martyr. If come back then called ghazi.

Pakistani civilians needs military training as well. We will realize it later but for sure.

Aggressive policies, but what do you mean by that?

It's not an over exaggeration to say the world is playing 5D chess, kargil failed because there was no coordinated diplomatic and media policy, it's an analogue approach for a digital world

Personal perceptions of aggressive policy, cannot dominate actual real policy, they can be a blunder in itself, furthermore policy is not viewed alone from the prism of a general, I know this is a defense forum but seriously defense is not just your weapons

Aggressive policies to pursue for my mind are.....strengthen your civil society, your education levels, your natural skill sets, your spiritual fortitude, and your togetherness, care and compassion for one another.



Honestly, most of China's success is just simply down to getting your head down, and working hard, very hard

For a society, for an aspirational my successful society, there is literally no other avenue other than to earn it

I have repeatedly pointed out in this forum in last 5-6 weeks how Modi's 'Muscular' foreign policy has messed up India where it is now. I had said that the Indian foreign policy was working well since the mid 60s till the mid 2010s but some strange ideological bent got introduced under Modi which has undone all that hard work for half a century. And this short video from an Indian channel is pointing toward a path to undo the damage. But then the 'dictators ride tiger' quote comes to my mind.

All your steps above doesn’t save pakistan from india. What you are talking about is better administration and democracy which are totally different topics and all your steps will take years and you have to erase corruption and people must be held accountable etc.

What we are discussing here is about existential threat and how to overcome issues by applying aggressive policy. What I mean from aggressive policy? Well many things which can’t be disclosed here but overall a better image of pakistan with pakistan openly declaring Kashmir as a bilateral issue between china and Pakistan thus removing india as a potential party. I know it seems hard but abrogation also seemed impossible until india made the decision.

You must understand that bringing china in Kashmir dispute is necessary as this will guarantee our success. We also want to defeat Indian army despite smaller in size. All this isn’t possible without Chinese involvement but trust me, defeating india is a possibility.

There is nothing impossible. If there is a problem from Iran then don’t sit back. Cross border, annex parts of nearby countries, create buffer zones, make check posts and call it your own territory. Against Afghanistan and Iran, United States is standing with pakistan but against india, it’s not sure and there is more tilt towards india than towards pakistan. This is where we need china.

All in all, aggressive policies aren’t limited to couple of new policies. It’s a set of instruction, proper plan to give pakistan a better chance to defeat enemy specially india. Current strategies of think tanks seems to not work. Every new policy is destructive until it’s used by cunning people.

I am totally against defensive posture either it’s related to Iran, Afghanistan or india. No UN can solve Kashmir so pakistan must declare it as its own territory and this will give us excuse to launch another kargil, a psychological war to defeat Indian evil mind.this will put breaks on Indian aggression for sone time but not forever. Different aggressive policies are needed and there is no time as ultimate all out war can start anytime but I call it winter war for a reason which I will explain if someone asks.

That's some grandiose delusion Mirza Saab. You are talking about a grass root movement embedded in the very psyche of an Indian.

India may disintegrate towards the mid part of century but no one is ever overhauling the Hindutva mentality.

Substantial consideration is required. The project will be a long one and perhaps the solution is not straightforward. However, the important thing is for Pakistan and any other civilised nation in the vicinity to realise once and for all that hindutva is a backwards mentality that cannot be sustained alongside any of our nations. This may well be the most important outcome of the last month's activities - everyone now realises the true threat of hindutva, from fabricating cassus belli against peace seeking neighbours to cheering for turning off the water supply to civilians. This is a dangerous mentality that cannot be reasoned with.

That will be a strategic blunder on Pakistan's part.

You must have heard how SalahudDin laid siege to a town and at the same time kept it strong enough not to fall in his hands. He wanted to draw crusaders out to his favored place to fight him, he even would send food and other stuff into that town so it didn't fall. He instructed his commanders to make and sure and prevent fall of the city before the crusaders showed, and then came the exhausted thirsty crusaders to the rescue of that town, the result is history.

I think I know what that video would be talking about and no time to watch some long videos; I often have to play videos faster speed and even skip watching once I get something new out of them. Not enough time in the day.
As for the 'logic to the madness'. I absolutely don't see that. Sometimes political leaderships make decisions based on ideologies, with rigidity, instead of rationality. Since Modi mid 2010s, India joined the esteemed groups like the Afghan Talibans and the Zelenskies of this world.
