India literally made up a second pilot that doesn't exist.

India did not, that entire second pilot thing started from DGISPR tweet which they later attributed to fog of war.

In this case, the person in question exists. Not only does she exist, but she was one of the people directly involved in the air war during May 6-7, when the squadron she's was apart of lost (at least 1) Rafale(s).

What is the proof that she was one of the people directly involved in air war? What evidence do you have that she was flying any kind of missions?

You only heard some Rafales were involved in fighting, what is the evidence she was among those flying them?

We have not seen her since, while we've seen all the other members of her squadron in photos and videos since the ceasefire.

Have you seen ANY current IAF fighter pilot in public? These folks do not go around making public appearances. So how do you conclude she SPECIFICALLY is missing?

Not to mention, only fighters that were shot down were on May 6th. While this rumour started on May 10. Even the dates do not line up.

The DGISPR said it was a mistake, as they got two reports of the same incident, which was the shooting down of an Indian fighter.

Indian media and Twitter users ran with the story.

Indian media, as well as the fact that Rafales were involved. Considering India has a very small number of them, and practically all of them were used....you get my point.

Her squad mates were in a post-op photo shoot, she was missing.

Not to mention, only fighters that were shot down were on May 6th. While this rumour started on May 10. Even the dates do not line up.

Rumors are usual post-op. They don't have to align completely.

Again, this entire situation is very easy for India to score a very easy propaganda victory on.

During May 10th, there were people literally searching for her and live reports were broadcasted about her been captured etc etc etc. This was not anything like delayed rumours, it was on May 10th. We know no plane was shot down on May 10th.

For a comparison, capture of Abhinandon was reported in less than an hour.

And no, debunking this has ZERO propaganda victory. Because Pakistan has denied all of this Shivani capturing officially.

Engaging with this rumour will bring nothing but mockery. India already denied it, if anything, Pakistan has an opportunity to score propaganda victory by parading her. LOL! So when is PAF releasing statement and pictures?

Wasn't it you guys who were claiming Abhinonedone Mig21 wreckage as F16 and then when Pakistan displayed Abhi's mig21 AAM you guys were saying pakistan used R77 R73 dummies? And did the same thing with your Mig29 wreckage and claimed it to be Paf Mirage3/5 wreckage and Iaf Mirage2000 wreckage as JF17? Losers.

Why do we need to be apologetic about this to the western world?
I also had similar feelings earlier but, have come to realise that these aren’t meaningless displays. People come and enjoy these events. Why rob our populace of Choti Moti khushiyan in a life full of many other worries unlike the west.

West too has a fair share cringy events. Tomato festival, bull races and many similar events are held across the western world which can be labelled as worse than this show.

Calling it technical failure and fracticide in the same sentence means it had some sort of IFF failure which led to it being shot down by Indian SAMs. This Isn’t an unlikely possibility given how far inside India it crashed (Non-export PL15 can reach that range under very good launch conditions), but it could just as likely be face saving.

Either way, the Rafale went down in an active conflict, neither reason for its downing is any less embarrassing.
