I think India is actually trying to collect intelligence via these notams and other exercises. They underestimated Pakistan the last time and paid a very heavy price so now want to collect precise information about Pakistani radar coverage, response times, AD etc for the next round. I suspect they are trying to do this in the sea as well as the next round will be exchange of missiles and naval action.

I believe it will not be easy for India to start another May 06-07 attack especially when there is a ceasefire having Trump signature on it. Yes they are desperate to kill some PAF jets, even if they are on ground, but this desperation will end up a rude awakening for them again. PAF perfectly knows this and anticipates any kind of misadventure and with better tactics, its IAF who will be getting spanked again. PAF has learnt from Atlantique incident, if they shot down any craft, it will be responded with multiple Indian aircrafts getting destroyed. And yes this time, Pakistan will also use their cruise missiles.

If they are that close they have learnt f*ck all. Mind you I agree with your post, we should have struck far harder.
When their exercise occur send up the PAF and have them take offensive positions without doing anything, put them on the edge.

The enemy can justify an attack ANYWHERE in Pakistan saying "terrorists " are hiding there, Clifton or Lalazar in Karachi could be leveled by saturation Brahmos attacks on the same rationale.
The enemy is likely to be attacking the homes of air force officers, army officers and defense personnel. These are far easier targets to hit.

Hitting "terrorists " is sometimes a tried and tested reason for genocide.
