With your air superiority between the 7th and 10th, what stopped your air force from taking out the entirety of Indian military installations and the remnants of the poor IAF? You could have achieved several decades of total dominance over India with that—much like the Israelis did after the Six-Day War. It must have been your large-heartedness that kept you from finishing off the IAF, pulverizing the Indian Army, or liberating Kashmir.
Isn't it the official position (Parliamentary resolution 1991) of India that Kashmir is an integral part ( Atoot Ang अटूट अंग ) of India? Then why pass up the opportunity to restore this atoot ang back into Akhand Bharat ( Greater India अखंड भारत ) wrested from a battered and weakened Pakistan ? If the cause for Akhand Bharat ( अखंड भारत ) is sacred , and Pakistan that vulnerable, then why didn’t the state of Mother India ( Bharat Mata) walk the talk and attempt to decisively settle scores with its arch-rival?Isn't it the official position of your state that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan? Then why pass up the opportunity to “liberate” this so-called jugular vein from a supposedly battered and weakened India? If the cause is that sacred, and India that vulnerable, then why didn’t the state of Pakistan walk the talk and attempt to decisively settle scores with its arch-rival?
Pardon the bluntness, but the real reasons of the India-Pakistan conflict are not publicly admitted by India in its "diplomatic " initiative and nor acknowledged by Pakistan itself.Pardon the bluntness, but we both know where things really stand — in terms of capabilities, intent, and domestic narratives. Neither country has been entirely honest with its people. And so we continue to cling to a cause where the status quo has, in reality, ossified — even though both sides pretend otherwise.
Both the India houses of Parliament have making a remarkable display of sanity given the volume and pitch of their discourse. On this forum our standards of sanity are different and unintelligible to Indians.I've been looking for some sane voices on this forum over the past few days, but honestly, I haven’t found any — on either side. It’s sad, but the way things are going, it really feels like we’re inching closer to war. Unfortunate, yes — but at this point, it almost seems inevitable

Its an existential conflict for Pakistan and religious conflict by India. Based on a perception of grievances spanning 1500 years India's desire for revenge is perpetual and intense. The India Pakistan conflict is an extension of the religious conflict ( rather persecution of a religious minority) within India itself. India sees Pakistan and its people not as a sovereign nation but just another religious minority ghetto in one its cities which can be subjected to a mass extermination pogram. India wants Pakistan to suffer the same fate as its religious minority ghettos, population massacred expelled or incarcerated and the houses and places of worship bulldozed.

No, we are not "inching towards war" . In fact we have been in a state of war for 78 years with pauses in between. Yes, we are "inching towards ending the latest pause" . This pause will be the last one .

Sorry for my language in the last message.
We both seem to be good human beings, but captive to our own narrative, incompatible to each other. Generations before us lived and died with their own dichotomy, I guess we are destined for the same fate.
