Indias sindoor showed the world that Pak has a modern and powerful military not a paper tiger like we sometimes see with countries that are run by their military. This IMO has significantly changed the calculation in the ME by the GCC countries (SA was an exception as there always been an arrangement in place).

Any defence deal should lead to massive financial uplift in Pak including helping to purchase more advance weapons from China.

Ironically China can be a real security guarantor for the region much better than the US as it can influence GCC with weapons, security support via Pak and influence Iran through its economic and investment moves.

The region needs stability to become stronger economically and militarily. Pak can help to be the catalyst here because of its non alignment and friendly relations with all.
