Issue is we require 1200-1400km Range ALBM to be effective for that we need a platform,

we have none!

Situation in Geographical point of view is very different from lets say current conflict in Middle East.

I had a discussion with somebody, and he has placed lot of praise on PRF when i asked regarding the equipment inducted, he said Fattah 1/2 Rockets, Fattah 4 Tactical LACM and Fattah 3 (SSCM) are more than enough in inflict from Pakistani border till 400km everything will be accurately targeted.

Indian IADS is good they are upgrading but geography plays its tricks. that is why last year they had concentrated there IADS near HV targets. other areas were relatively very lightly defended.

TBMs do offer some maneuverability but their decent is unpowered or mostly unchanged thus interceptions are a lil easier .

Aero ballistics fly the quasi terrriotory , stay with in the atmosphere and dont have the parabolic path , in some ways utilize MaRV to get to the target .

Fatah and khybar shikan are more TBM then Aero ballictic , Iranian fatah utilizes pure spped to defeat targets while khyber shikan some movements in the final stages.

The reason for the quick interceptions of our missiles were probably
1)Low re entry speeds
2)The missiles not getting into their re entry phase and getting interecepted in midcourse
3) Poor numbers and tactis
4) Keep warning the enemy that " we will attack at the time of our choosing" thus kinda alerting them more tbh

The range is a simple case of Depressed, lofted , or Quasi
You don't need a different variant for each. The missile can be programmed to follow whichever is required. Each will have different resulting range .

Comparing the cost of Fateh and S-400 per missile. Even if intercepted, thats still a damage to the enemy.

Plus the images people refer to as evidence of intercepted Fateh 2 , may also be the guts of Brahmos, ad both are very similar.

Although at Extended range, the missile must follow the minimum energy trajectory for maximum range . Thats a very predictable trajectory and interception attempts have a higher chance of success .

I don't think we need a separate platform to carry a 1000-1200 km range ALBM. Because we already habe a rocket force. So why buy a new platform just for a new type of missile which we will never be able to acquire in numbers more than 100 ?

So I agree with that "somebody". Let's leave the rockets, F-4 and conventional ballistic missiles to rocket force. And PAF can go for high value targets using their own assets and inventory.

good point and I would go a step further

2 x SMASH tests
1 x Taimoor
1 x Harbah
and some air defence

long range, extended reach and stealth delivery

its a very good pattern and trend

The Indian Goverment for now, has given up on their airforce being "effective" against the PAF, and are hoping the Indian Navy will save their national pride in the next staged fake terrorist attack in India, and the staged outrage against Pakistan, all in search of a "military victory of any kind".

India may feel that an attempt at a "blockade" of Pakistan could help them achieve some notion of a military victory.

All these naval exercises are a recognition of the next round of "Sindoor" and part of the ongoing preparations - imho.
